“Staff were so friendly and the room was large and clean with very comfortable beds. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great. Special thanks to the lady on reception who then went to work in the reception in the evening (sorry forgot her name) she was so nice and made us feel very welcome. We recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to return. ”

“The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The best thing about it was that it faced the beach - about a one minute walk away. It was wonderful being able to see the ocean from the balcony and listen to the sound of the waves in bed. Would've stayed longer but unfortunately it was booked out.”

“Nice environment”

“This was a super comfy country stay. Good bed, spacious room, dated but clean bathroom. Room had entry front and back which was nice for a breeze. Ate in the restaurant for dinner - tasty food and friendly service - and then a continental breakfast included the next morning. And a couple of dips in the pool. This place is a great option for a self-contained highway stay. And pet-friendly - we didn't have ours with us but a few others did, and there are plenty of nice outdoor grassed area to take...

“Well maintained. Very comfortable beds. Good pressure of water, I will stay again when travelling to Brisbane. Dinner was a bit of challenge. Most of restaurants closed and pub was so busy probably due to school holiday. But basic meal filled our bellies n had a good sleep.”

“We stayed in Cabin no:1 which had beautiful garden & beach views from the front deck. There was a bbq, outdoor setting and a bench with stools which was perfect for sitting back relaxing with a drink or two. Inside was clean, spacious and well equipped with a washing machine & dryer if needed. 1770 Sunset Cabins is perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway.”
