Studio Terrace Frangipane

Caratteristico monolocale in affitto sito in Via Frangipane, a pochissimi passi dal Colosseo e dai Fori Imperiali. L’appartamento si trova al 1° piano senza ascensore di un antico palazzo. Composto da piccolo soggiorno con divano e angolo sala da pranzo, terrazza con tavolo e sedie per mangiare all’aperto, cucina completamente attrezzata, bagno con doccia, letto matrimoniale su soppalco. Dotato di aria condizionata, tv.Arredamento moderno e tappezzerie di buona qualitàcompletano la struttura.

Nice stay, many improvements needed to be a good stay!

We spent in Rome the long Easter week end. Location is amazing, a few steps from Colosseum and all the roman beauties! The apartment is very quiet, surrounded by narrow cobblestone streets. Tiny, but the space inside is well organised, the bed is comfortable and the terrace gives a lot of breath: we had nice breakfasts and lunches outside. The apartment needs just to be refreshed a bit (entrance door hard to open/close, fridge door does not close easily, drawer without handle, the shower hose was totally broken), anyway not a big deal we managed, I fixed somehow the shower, although 50% of the water was wasted! PS a recommendation for the Owner: we checked-in late (paying an extra € 25 fee), it would have been nice to find a bottle of water, toilet paper (there was only the end of a used roll) and the soap to wash the dishes: we bought everything the following morning (by the way many shops are close so it was easy), anyhow it would have been appreciated to find those things, in particular the toilet paper.

We managed

The apartment needed a thorough cleaning. The host was nice enough to meet us early to show us the apartment and give us the keys. Location is in the heart of Rome. We rented a car and were lucky to secure close parking on 3 seperate occasions. Never figured out how to pay for parking, but we did not get any tickets, so all good there. We knew the bed was in the loft, but did not realize how low the ceiling was or how steep the ladder was. The pictures made the apartment look much larger than it is. Overall our stay was ok. Rome was ok, but we will not return as we enjoyed other areas of Italy better. I could not recommend this to a couple our age (55 & 52) as the ladder could be a struggle. This apartment would be good for a younger couple looking for affordable rental in the heart of Rome.

Great place once established

The check in process was frustrating at best. The entrance door is on the patio of a WONDERFUL restaurant that I ate at twice during my stay and I wish I had more time so I could eat there more. It took me 30 minutes to get in to the building as I had no cell service upon arrival and was told by the host to use my app to open the door to the loft. I missed my first scheduled tour because of the time it took me to get in to the loft but once in it was lovely.

Das Apartment ist super gelegen, direkt hinter dem Colosseum, trotzdem fernab des Trubels. Klein aber fein, die Terasse blüht zwar nicht mehr, aber es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Leicht zu finden, das Internet ist nur sehr schwach, dass wir kurzzeitig Probleme hatten, den türcode einzulesen, ansonsten war es super und sehr zu empfehlen. Man erreicht das Apartment problemlos vom Flughafen und kann Rom fussläufig von dort sehr gut erkunden. Ein kleines Restaurant direkt vor der Tür welches sehr gut war. Sehr zu empfehlen das Apartment.

Very nice stay in Rome

As we wanted to visit Rome for the first time, we wanted to stay 4 weeks. In that way we could take time to visit all the places in a calm way. No hurry, just enjoying Rome. Therefore we hired a studio and not a hotelroom. The studio is very small but efficient and practical. It is a pity that one cannot stand in the bedroom. And it is also a pity that all the plants are dead. Not as the picture shows. And I would recommend the owner to take the effort to maintain the studio better. Paint the walls of the studio and balcony. That would show much better. Nevertheless we enjoyed the studio and Rome very much. The view in the near surroundings is beautiful.

The PERFECT location, dead-center of everything.

There's not much to this rental, except the absolute most perfect location to see many of the best places in Rome. All of the sites of Rome are at your doorstep. 2 minutes to the Colussium, the Forum is across the street. 10 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 15 minutes to St. Peter's - amazing neighborhood, dozen's of local restaurant's and bars. Fantastic for people not spending lots of time in the room. Don't bring much luggage either, space is tight. They could you an actual chair, maybe a recliner (only thing in the room is a weird couch.) If you can handle the restricted space, this place was incredible,

Location, Location, Location

Loved the Monti neighborhood and the close proximity to the Colosseum and easy walking distance to transportation and sights. The pictures online are a mixture of old and new pictures. The apartment is small and not outfitted for a long stay and the ladder makes getting up at night difficult. The internet/phone-dependent entrance to the building provided a lot of stress, and there was no alternative method (physical key access) to get into the building. Additionally, the instructions on how to open the apartment door were incorrect. We would have liked a map of the neighborhood to show us markets, laundromats, and transportation options. Having someone meet us at the apartment to give us instructions about the keyless entry and the area would have provided a quicker orientation for our short stay. Other than the frustration surrounding the entrance to our building and apartment, we loved the vibe of the neighborhood and the wonderful restaurants, bakeries, and markets all around us.

Emplacement parfait

L'appartement est très bien situé, seul bémol c'est la terrasse qui donne sur les cuisines du restaurant en dessous et donc les odeurs. Impossible d'ouvrir la porte de l'appartement pour l'aérer. Appartement de petite taille qui suffit pour un jeune couple.

Great location

Great location, apartment is small but quiet and near several great well priced restaurants. So close to the coliseum and the forum but so quiet when you are in the apartment . Check in was very difficult because the instructions for opening the apartment door were incorrect. And help was hard to find. But once we got in, the apartment was great

Mixed feelings

The information we were given to get in was not accurate. It took us 2 hours and several phone calls to finally get in. Supposedly there were suppose to be keys on the table. There were none. We left for the evening, came back, the wifi was down in the apartment. Took us 1 hour ( in the rain) to get in. We were there for 3 days and there was never any hot water. They say there is air conditioning. There is, but it didn't work very well. It never got cooler than 26 degrees. I'm sure in the loft where the bed is located it was hotter than that. My phone would not work in the apartment. Emergency calls only. That was problematic.

Ruhiges Appartement in zentraler Lage

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, das Appartement dennoch sehr ruhig. Die Innenausstattung ist ausreichend. Gut klimatisiert. Allerdings ist die Terrasse in einem eher schlechten Zustand und ab 18.00 Uhr aufgrund Küchengerüchen und angrenzenden Klimageräten so gut wie nicht nutzbar.
