Camere ottime e posizione strategica
Siamo stati a Domus Napoleone 4 notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Le stanze sono ampie, silenziose, pulite e moderne. La struttura si trova molto vicina alla stazione Termini e non solo. Infatti intorno ci sono ottime pasticcerie per chi ama fare colazione con buoni dolci e ottimi ristoranti che fanno cucina tipica romana. Inoltre Stefano, il proprietario, è stato gentilissimo, accogliente e sempre pronto ad aiutarci. La prossima volta che torneremo a Roma, sicuramente verremo nuovamente a soggiornare presso la Domus.

I truly have nothing to complain about this place as I knew about the nature of this property from other reviews prior to my bookkeeping. The place is only about 10 min walk from Roma Termini station. If you exit from the last door from the food court within Roma Termini, it is 3 blocks away. (The food court I am referring to is not the ones in front of you when you exit from your train. The food court I am referring to is the ones on the left hand side of the train station. Once you exit your train, if you turn left, there are clothing stores and food courts on the left side of the train station.) The place is very spacious, clean, and unique (with high ceiling and nice decors). It's not a hotel per se, but more like an Air B&B in my opinion. The place has about 5 rooms with various room sizes. It's secured with 3 sets of doors with keys ((1) front main entrance on the street, (2) entrance to Domus Napoleone, and (3) room key). There is no staff at the reception 24/7, which is totally understandable. The only thing I would say is that the side street is a bit dark in the night. This is not anything that Domus Napoleone can do as it does not control the number of street lights. I really don`t want my next remark to be interpreted as a negative comment, but I feel obligated to say it. If you are a solo traveller, and not comfortable living in a place with no staff on-site, this place may not be suitable for you. You may be the only one on the floor. Overall, I felt safe.

Great accommodation! Super close to Roma Termini station and walkable distance to the main touristic places. We stayed in an en-suite room with a nice open plan sitting/kitchen area with fridge, stovetop, kettle, etc. The place is clean and cosy. Stefano the host/manager was super helpful, easily accessible and friendly.The lady who organised the room for us (apologies for not knowing the nice lady’s name) was also very lovely. Both myself and my sister loved the place and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy and convenient place to stay whilst visiting belíssima Roma. Grazie mille to Stefano and his team.

Stefano is a great host and is very contactable should you need anything. Property is very walkable to the colosseum and not far from Trevi and Pantheon. Great budget friendly option for Rome.

It's a well-situated place but the walls are too thin. I was able to hear the upstairs' neighbors arguing, laughing and watching TV noises. It is near the Roma termini which is a plus! Great room, nice staff and service. If you are a deep sleeper, it is a perfect place to stay.

A cozy bed and breakfast in the center of Rome
Very close to the Rome train station, lots of buses that circulating around Rome. Room is clean, nice and cozy with very high ceilings and Bathroom very clean, modern, with basic amenities. Stefano the host, who came to open me the door is very accommodating and very cool host. I am recommending Domus Napoleon for solo trip, couples, and friends’ trip.

Cons: 3 flights of stairs (no lift). Rock hard bed with a single flat pillow each. No air con in the bedroom. Washing machine didn’t work. Hot water system hits your head when using the toilet. Single small window looking into an unkempt courtyard. The area around it is dirty and full of cheap shops. Pros: clean and tidy. Close to train

Just to let you know every our room have air conditioning and you can find the second pillow inside the wardrobe. The washing machine is not for the guest and you cannot use it, for this reason it is not part of the services listed in your reservation. However, if you had contacted me to ask me anything, I would have intervened promptly to make your 4 nights stay fantastic.

チェックインが12時からなのは仕方ないが、12時までオーナーが来なくて、スーツケースを預ける事も出来ず、どこへも行けずただ無駄な時間を過ごしてしまった。周辺はテルミニ駅から徒歩圏内ですが、あまり治安は良くないです。建物は古いですが、部屋はリフォームされていましたし、ホテルより広かったです。シャワーのお湯が決まった量しか出ず、2人で続けてシャワーに入ると途中でお水になり、寒くて辛かったです。部屋に入る迄に鍵を3箇所開けなければならず、大変でした。また、エレベーターはありません。

Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback. It’s very important for us and we thank you for all your point. - there is no elevator. Right, as explained on booking page we are at the first floor without elevator- nobody welcome you before 12.00! Right, our check in policy start at 12.00 and we haven’t 24 hours reception service. You never replied me to my three messages that i sent to you in order to organize your check in and you didn’t communicate to me anything about your arrival time. - the neighborhood is not safe. I don’t remember negative experience for our guests - you have not to much hot water. Right, in one of two our standard double room, we have a 50 litres of hot boiler water but in all other rooms we have 24 hours a lot of hot water. - about the keys we are a guesthouse and there are three doors, right. But we have a new smart system where you can open the doors by keys or using a smartphone application. Best Regards

Good location for Trains/buses to/from airport. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and all main attractions. Very warm welcome from excellent host. Basic but clean accommodation and host was very helpful with our need for an extra bed. Noise from inside hotel from other guests at reception and people using stairs was excessive, due to the location of our room.

Good morning from Canada Stefano! This is long overdue but I wanted to thank you for all your help during our stay in May 2023. You went above and beyond for us. You totally understood the stress I was under in trying to make the most of our touring time in Rome balance with retrieving delayed luggage prior to our cruise departure. People can stay in any accommodations but it’s a host like you that differentiates the experience. Highly recommend YOU!!
