Andrea, the property manager, was extremely helpful and responsive, answering all of our questions and helping us coordinate transportation from the airport to the apartment and vice versa. He also helped us with transportation from the apartment to our cruise ship port upon checkout. The apartment was in a perfect location, close to everything we wanted to see and do, but far enough away from the congestion of the high tourist areas. The neighborhood felt high-end and safe, and the coffee and restaurant prices were much lower than in tourist areas.
We were a party of five family members and stayed in early September, when it was still very warm in Rome. We utilized all of the sleeping areas in the apartment, but the upstairs bedroom and the living room area with the pull-out couch got a bit warm in the evening, even though there is an AC unit in the common area. We found that leaving the living room doors, upstairs bedroom door, and master bedroom door open helped to keep those areas more comfortable. There is a small fan for the upstairs area, but I would recommend that the host get another fan for the living room area. We bought a fan from a small shop in the neighborhood, but unfortunately it was broken. The master bedroom stayed very comfortable with the AC unit in there all day and night long.
Overall, the host and property are great, and we would highly recommend it.
