This is my second time at the hotel. When I arrived I said it was my favorite hotel in Rome, and it remains so. I was treated like a queen. The space is stunning. Everything is thought of, every detail. People are nice. The food for breakfast is wonderful. I love the linens. I love the flatware. The design. It's a marvelous place to land if you need to de-stress.
The only critique I have is of the room location; when I booked it was at the location across the alley which I prefer for its quieter noise levels. This room faced the Corso, so I heard non-stop foot traffic, talking, music from the shops below, etc. I had finished the work I had to do for the portion of my business trip that had me in Rome by the time I got to the hotel, so the noise in the end did not disrupt that, but were I to have been working, it would have been impossible. And still, I do prefer complete quiet. It's why I liked GKK so much in the original location, so in the future I would prefer that location, or a room that does not face the Corso, either one.
