Bellissimo posto
All'inizio sono rimasto male perché sono comparsi 40 euro di pulizia dei quali non si fa menzione nella sezione delle spese, ma si trova solo se si.legge tutto l'annuncio con attenzione. Poi invece abbiamo trovato un appartamento molro carino, pulito e collocato in zona stupenda tra castel Sant'Angelo e Piazza Navona. Goduto Roma con facilità. Proprietario gentile e preciso.

L’appartamento è carino e comodo e la sua posizione ottima,infatti si trova vicinissimo a piazza San Pietro. Tutto rispecchia la descrizione tranne il fatto che nell’annuccio si parla di parcheggio e solo contattando il proprietario si scopre che non c’è e quello più vicino è a pagamento! L’altro neo sono i soldi chiesti per la pulizia di cui non si parla nel sito e che vengono menzionati solo dopo la prenotazione tramite messaggio! Comunque sia il mio giudizio sulla proprietà in se rimane positivo!

Grazie per la recensione! Forse una lettura più approfondita dell'annuncio da parte sua le avrebbe evitato la sorpresa del pagamento della pulizia all'arrivo. Richiediamo questo pagamento all'arrivo perchè in caso di cancellazione del soggiorno l'ospite non lo perde in quanto non è stato ancora pagato. Una questione di correttezza.

Bellissimo soggiorno! Appartamento provvisto di tutto il necessario ed in una posizione impagabile, infatti l'uso dei mezzi pubblici è del tutto superfluo! Fantastic central location. Very clean and easy. A few things to know. We stayed on the third floor so luggage must be carried 3 flights of narrow stairs. Not a lot of furniture besides beds but fine for us, out most of the day. Lovely and accommodating caretakers.

Great location, on walking distance of all the highlights. We asked for 1 double and 2 separate beds, but this was not the case when we arrived. We asked for the extra bed and they brought us the sheets. Very strange that they come in the appartement to Collect the taxes. We only got 3 towels for 4 persons for 4 days….the blankets where very dirty. The appartement was also not very clean. Dust everywhere.

Charmante Wohnung in toller Lage, ideal für einen Kurzurlaub
Wir waren zu viert da (als Familie) für einen dreitägigen Kurzurlaub. Die Wohnung ist sehr charmant und geräumig, absolut zentral gelegen. Ideal, um Rom zu Fuß zu entdecken. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist 2 min. entfernt, ebenso wie Supermarkt, Restaurant u.v.m. Check-in und Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin waren unkompliziert. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Nice apartment in Piazza Navona
This was a typical Roman apartment, had everything we needed to relax in between going out, close to everything - with many grocery stores to choose from. It is in the Piazza Navona district, was quiet and provided us what we needed. The apartment was exactly as listed - only downside was I couldn't find any clothespins to hang my washed clothes - so I used binder clips instead. Lovely apartment, lovely stay.

Beautiful apartment & great location
The apartment is very spacious and nice, plus the bed was comfortable! All of the main tourist attractions were all within a 30 minute walk. The neighborhood is full of good restaurants and I felt very safe walking at night. The host was responsive and helpful! Great experience overall!

Not exactly as listed.
This apartment is not in Piazza Navona but about 5-6 blocks away. It is reasonable walking to the piazza however. It felt very safe to walk day or night. The apartment is on the third floor going up tiny, winding stairs. It's noisy. There is one double bed and two, old, very uncomfortable roll out beds. The kitchen has what you need to cook, a small fridge, and a non-working freezer. One of our visitors had had knee replacement surgery (well after booking) and was not prepared for the tiny steps to the unit. The owner was completely unwilling to work with us to let us cancel any of the days. While we appreciate "This is business," we felt there could have been a better resolution. Would not stay there again.

This is the typical comment of a visitor who, not having read the characteristics of the apartment described in the announcement, such as the plan in which it is located, is surprised upon arrival and enters a bad mood and sees only negative aspects of the own journey. Fortunately, many other enthusiasts have unconditionally appreciated their stay with me.

Leider wie im Objekt inklusive Parkplatz war nicht vorhanden... Und die 40 Euro extra als Endreinigung war nicht wirklich erkennbar...😤weil die ersten 50 Euro sofort überwiesen werden sollten und dann die 40 € extra( wo wir dachten die Endreinigung waren).. Das Objekt tolle Lage....und hab es Weiterempfohlen...könnte perfekt 6 Personen schlafen und total zentral in Rom...👍👍

Useful Info for Future Travelers
1. The listing of xx euro per night is quite misleading. Understand you will pay a LOT more. If you have 6 people who stay a week it will cost extra for more travelers + the base price. There are even more fees added when you arrive. NOTE: Some reviews show some late fees waived, but ours wasn't, despite advance notice. Subjective rules late fees? + No standard state fee given per person. Just a lump sum. Expect to pay €xxx.00 more & all this despite the fact guy who unlocks the door is just 2 doors down. If you're late you will pay a late fee, even if you tell them em plane arrives later, a 4:30 arrival flight is not enough time! Frustration with way more money paid then expected. We got lost using a train, bus & walked many many, many blocks. There's no way to communicate as our US phones couldn't make a call & no txt messaging either as they only communicate via the VRBO site. But, if you don't have international Internet connectivity just coming in country then you have NO way to communicate to say youre lost or nearby. Come prepared to pay MORE in cash. No euro change nearby. Had to pay a LOT more, depending on how many people you have with you. They take a picture of your passport with a cell phone which is a privacy/security issue. FYI: Nobody should be taking & photographing your passports! We didn't get an itemized receipt for extra charges. Ask for one! With all the extra fees, we paid 3x the face value per night posted. (consider hotel or a place with better beds & ammenities) Other useful tips: 1) Ask for MORE toilet paper! We were given only 3 rolls for a family of 6 for a week. 2) There is a washing machine but was NO detergent to wash clothes. No place to dry clothes for six. 2 clothes hangers needed. 3) The freezer doesnt work, turn the refrigerator ALL the way up as it barely keeps food cool. Beware Mold all around frigerator seal!! 4) The picture with the bed is the only decent mattress. The other 2 beds are basically roll away beds with 3" matresses. 5) Ask how to use the gas stove! 6) There are NO couches only four very small hard table chairs. Not enough for 6 people! 7)AC is only in ONE room, if you sleep in the living area you will be quite hot. 8) If you're older, have bad knees or babies just know it's 6-7 flights up a VERY narrow stairway. You must carry everything up 6-7 flights of stairs & climb every time you come back from a long day out. 9) No local info in a book like other apts 10) Clean/convenient

Hi Alice it seems that you didn't read at all the info that are very well described in my announce on Homeaway and especially about the security informations we MUST give to italian police when a Non-EU citizen is visiting Italy. As host will go under civil justice if i don't inform the police about identities!! And even i informed you about GDPR rights that you have in Europe and Italy of course. Of course your disinformation gave you a surprise, and i understand, a bad MOOD for your vacation. Of course i don't really want to make surprises and for this reason i politely remind all to my guests comunicating with my messages but sometimes it's not enough as in your situation. I hope that at least you enjoyed all roman sight and charm that is still out there in the city always and forever.

Great apartment!
We loved our stay in this apartment. It is exactly as described. The location is perfectly situated on a quiet street, close to all the restaurants and sites in the Navona neighborhood. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was clean and had the amenities. The A/C worked really well. The check in process was a little jumbled in that we did not have the exact unit number of the apartment and did not know which unit to “buzz” to get in. Great location in central Rome.
This clean and comfortable, but spare, apartment is very nicely located in central Rome. And the #64 bus is located 1 1/2 blocks for easy movement about the city. The neighborhood is lots of fun, with many good restaurants just minutes away.

A great place in an unbeatable location
We rented two apartments of the four (My aunt and a group of us cousins). They were very clean; all of the appliances worked and there were no problems whatsoever. The owner is friendly and was kind enough to share details of the building's history. Highly recommended!

Bonne situation dans une petite rue calme à 2 pas de la piazza Navonna. Pas vraiment facile à trouvé car mal indiqué sur google map. Âpres 1/2 heure d'attente et plusieurs coups de téléphone nous avons enfin pu prendre possession de l'appartement au 3eme étage. L'appartement est spacieux quoique ne disposant que d'une chambre et d'un salon avec cuisine séparé (et non 2 chambres comme indiqué sur l'annonce). Ameublement et équipement minimal et bon marché. Juste pour 3 et surement insuffisant pour 6 personnes. Le ménage est fait au minimun (pour 40 euros on pourrait s'attendre à mieux). Les casseroles et le congélateur sont trop sales pour être utilisés. Pas de balai !

Great location but could be cleaner
Floor needed a wash and apartment needed a deep clean (presses, shelves etc). It was vacuumed and wiped but needed more, especially having to part with a cleaning fee on arrival. Great location near restaurants and shops. 20 minutes walk from Vatican and 35 minutes walk from Colosseum.

Understanding hosts, great location quaint and comfortable apartment!
We had a terrible delay and showed up 3 hours late with little cell signal, but the host was incredibly understanding and waved the late check in fee. He/she were also friendly and provided a great recommendation for what ended up to be our favorite dinner while in Rome. Comfortable accommodations and a great location off the tourist beat but still within walking distance of all things Rome. Absolutely recommend.

Appartement très bien placé mais décevant
La situation de l'appartement est idéale et le lieu lui-même, bien que sombre, a du cachet. Mais les équipements sont sommaires, voire défaillants. Il n'y a vraiment pas assez de rangements. La vaisselle est minimale, la poignée de la casserole pour les pâtes est cassée. On a dû appeler le propriétaire durant le séjour pour avoir un balai. Enfin, le ménage est fait superficiellement. Nous avons nous-même essuyé le dessus d'une armoire car nous voulions y déposer des vêtements. De la poussière également sur les poutres, sous les meubles, des vieux papiers dans les tiroirs,.... Cet appartement est finalement bon marché pour l'emplacement proposé mais gagnerait à être mieux équipé et entretenu.

This is in a good location near popular tourist sites, a convenient taxi stand and "local" vendors. Smaller and less appointed than was represented in photos, but we understand the risks of relying on these. Logistics were challenging for 4, but likely suitable space for 2. Certainly not capable of accommodating 6 as advertised. Furnishings are low-end "Ikea-like" quality. Overall an experience that was not unsatisfactory but not a location we will use again or recommend.

Great location!
Great location easy walking distance to the sights. We walked to the vatican, trevi fountain, spanish steps, and Colosseum. Room wasn't actually a two bedroom. The real bedroom had a a queen bed and another rolling bed. Then the living room had a rolling bed in it. We had five adults staying and it would be a bit tight for a long stay but was fine for the two nights we were there. We were met at the apartment, and allowed to check in early. Easy walk to many delicious restaurants.

Great little place in a great location.
We just got back from a week in Rome in apartment number 3, the location could not be better. Castle St. Angelo is a 2 minute walk, the Vatican is a 5 minute walk. Piazza Navona and the Pantheon is a 10 minute walk, the Spanish steps and the colosseum are about a 30 minute walk either way from the apartment so everything you want is within walkout distance. We took a cab from Termini and it was 10 euros. The restaurants around the apartment are. Amazing Il Fico was our favourite but they were all good. Our only complaint is when we arrived we were dropped off by our driver and first finding the place is tough just look for the number 6 over the door, then the door is locked there was no one there to let us in? I thought I had been scammed but I kept banging the doors and hitting all the buzzers until the cleaner unlocked the door for us and showed us our room, I never met Marco the owner the entire trip which was fine but would have been nice to be greeted the first day apon arrival to keep me from freaking out lol. All in all our trip was a 10 out of 10 and the apartment was everything I needed it to be.

Simple apartment in a cute neighborhood
Enjoyed our short stay in this apartment. Marco was great! Answered all my questions, had someone there when we arrived, called me when we touched down to make sure everything was good, allowed us to leave our luggage the day we checked out and come back for it later... His help really made it easy and stress free. My thanks to him! As for the apartment itself (We stayed in Unit 3), it's fairly basic, not a huge amount of charm, but clean and functional. We were there in winter and the heat worked fine, plenty of hot water, towels, etc... A decent amount of space. A place to sit and eat. Didn't really use the kitchen, but it seemed very workable. One bed is a sort of futon-ish rollout in the living room and then there is a proper bedroom. Bathroom is through the bedroom. We were there with two teenagers and it all worked out nicely for us. Price was great and we really did like the neighborhood. Some great little trattorias nearby and easy walking to everything (Da Fracesco was really good - Piazza del Fico, 29). Grabbed a bus to go to the Colosseum, and that was easy (#87 from near Piazza Navona). One note, lots of fairly steep stairs to get up to the apartment. Was not an issue for us, but if stairs are difficult for you, this might not be a great choice.

We enjoyed stay. Appartment was good base for sightseeing and in nice quiet environment with cafes, restaurants, grocery stores close by. With 4 of us there was no sitting room space. All facilities worked OK and there was good space for clothes. Shower was a little restricted. Crockery, glassware, cutlery was limited and not matching. it would have been hard to prepare much more than a sandwich.

Excellent stay, very well attended and clean
We very much enjoyed this apartment. It is spacious, clean and very well located, near the Corso, Piazza Navona and the S. Peter's church. The owner was on top of our arrival and leaving and we could store our luggage without problem the last day. Wifi included. We are a family of five and very happy to stay here again!

We loved this apartment and would definitely stay again.
This apartment is clean and spacious. The owner is very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It is perfectly located and we were able to walk to many sites with our two young daughters. There are many sites to see nearby, delicious restaurants, many shops, and overall great location. We stayed in unit 3 and it was perfect for us and our two girls. I can't wait to go back! We loved it.

Great neighborhood, wonderful apartment
Our family of five appreciated our authentic little apartment in the heart of the historic center. Luigi is very responsive in his communication by email and in person, he is a charming and gracious host. The location is perfect, a little tough to find by taxi, but that's true for most places in the historic center. The little kitchen was perfect! We enjoyed coffee each morning with the windows open to the neighboring rooftops. The apartment is clean and well kept. It was a perfect set up for our family. Just be aware, one bed is in the living room, and the other two are together in the bedroom. To access the bathroom you have to go through the bedroom. Our family is close and gets along great, so this wasn't a problem for us at all. The bathroom is large and well appointed, with a nice shower and shelving space for your belongings (something missing in other apartments where we stayed). The beds are generous, but firm. The wood table near the windows is a perfect place for gathering midday and discussing the evening plans. The apartment was an exceptional value, especially compared to the place we stayed on our last night. Don't hesitate to book any of his rooms. They make for a great base in Rome.
