The property is next door to a Hostel. The hotel is located in the courtyard of an apartment complex. The hotel was hard to locate. Upon entering the courtyard, there were multiple apartments with clothes hanging out to dry from many windows. The pictures online are accurate, but the surroundings are very different.
There was a tiny reception/lobby area. The clerk had to go outside with the credit card machine to get reception. There was a small dining area right off the check in counter which was the restaurant. When we asked for ice, the front desk clerk went behind the bar in the restaurant area and got an ice tray from the freezer and emptied it into a bowl that he gave to us with a spoon.
The price was very expensive for what was provided. One wall of the room (under the window) was a live plant wall. When closely inspected, the wall appeared to be covered in moss and mold.
This is not your traditional hotel. It is a single story building with a long hallway of rooms. When we were given our room key, it was a generic card with a hand written room number.
The floor was all tile. When in the room, my shoes stuck to the tile with each step. The shower did not drain.
We left early in the morning (a little before 6 a.m.). Upon entering the lobby, we found the night desk clerk asleep on the couch with a pillow and blanket. He had to unlock the door so we could exit the hotel.
I would definitely not recommend staying here.
