Muy buena opción de alojamiento en Trastevere. Apartamento pequeño pero suficiente para una familia de 4 como fue nuestro caso. Zona tranquila, pero cerca de muchas zonas tras un paseo .Dueña muy amable y servicial. Hay que tener en cuenta que a mayores del precio indicado debes pagar la tasa turística, 6 € persona/noche cuando llegas

Rome for Ryder Cup
Excellent property in old style building. Near to buses and plenty of restaurants, small supermarket close by. Apartment had everything we needed. Kitchen had all the appliances and tableware. Good to have a washing machine after 2 weeks on the road. And a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, European hotels and rooms seem to have only 3 in a room !!! Host welcomed us and explained everything. Comfortable stay and would come back here again if in Rome.

Great Location, Wonderful Stay
My stay was 6 weeks in length. The location is ideal. Situated in Trastevere, in a quiet location but only a 5 min walk to Santa Maria Basilica. The kitchen was stocked with essentials to prepare your own meals. Carmela was easy to communicate with and I would stay here again.

Great location, wonderful place
We (my spouse and I) stayed here for a week in February to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. The location is the best - close to all of the fun the neighborhood has to offer. The beds are comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. We visited just about all of central Rome during the days and used Trastevere and Testaccio as our 'home neighborhoods' for breakfasts and dinners. The owners we responsive and very helpful. Overall a very fun week in a lovely apartment.

Charming, helpful host
Host was so very helpful. Apartment nicely fitted out. Tea, coffee etc. The two private rooms were very nice. Small kitchen but workable. Our only concern was the noise till late hours. Great restaurants nearby. Wonderful market very close in the piazza.

Wonderful Stay
We had a great month long stay. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. It is close to restaurants, groceries and near tram and bus stops. We walked to all major sites. Carmela is a wonderful host and makes sure your stay is a happy one.

We stayed for a couple days and wish we could have stayed at this location for longer but it was already booked. Really close to everything yet doesn’t have the crowded feel of being in the inner city.

Good location
The location was great after being in the very touristy Rome area right before our stay in Trastavere. The AC in the bedroom didn’t work as well as we needed. It was hot to sleep. The unit was well appointed.

Fabulous location and apartment!
The apartment was in a really good location. The neighborhood had plenty of restaurants but you felt more like a local. Carmela was a dream to work with. Met us at the apartment, setup transportation for us and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend staying here.

Very helpful host
I had two minor emergencies during my stay, both of which were my own fault. Nonetheless, in both instances Carmela was very understanding and helpful in resolving them without complaint. She was a lovely host.

Amazing in every way!
To say Ilaria was kind and helpful would be an understatement. She helped us through a couple different minor emergencies and smiled the entire time. The place couldn't be placed in a better spot. We walked to every place as it is within 25 min to everywhere. We will definitely be coming back!

perfect for a short stay
Carmela met us at the apartment and was very lovely. The apartment was perfect for 3 of us for 2 nights; beds comfy, clean, clean, clean, well-equipped kitchen. she supplies basice food items; coffee, olive oil, sugar etc. which was a treat. Location was fab in the center of Trastevere. My only reservation is that it was dark - there is not really any natural light. otherwise, it was great.

Perfect location
The house was clean and it was perfect location. Trastevere is the most fun area of Rome and this house is just a couple of minutes walk from the center of it. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Carmella and Davide were incredibly gracious hosts which made everything so easy.

Just what we wanted
A very nice apartment and well supported by Carmela who was a great host. Everything is provided including spare toiletries and good linen and towels. It’s small but fine for 2 women; one on the sofa bed and one in bedroom. The bed is extremely comfy as all reviews say. It’s quiet at night although facing into courtyards any noise during day is somewhat amplified. The location is excellent. Restaurants on your doorstep, the wonderful Gianicolo Hill behind and trams and buses nearby.

Perfection!
Carmela's attention to detail and genuine care for her guests' visit is what made our trip so great. Starting with the airport, she helped arrange someone to pick us up and bring us straight to the apartment where she met us and showed us how/where to navigate the rooms, laundry, amenities, local restaurants, etc. She also gave us her number and was available whenever we had a quick question. I would absolutely return to her home if I have the chance!

Great couples apartment in Trastevere
Wonderful small apartment in the absolute best part of Trastevere. Here you are not a tourist but part of a real Roman community close to shops and restaurants. Don’t miss the nightly children’s calcio game on the piazza around the corner! Carmela and Davide are a joy arranging transfer from the airport and to the train station eliminating much stress. Highest recommendation.

Lovely host, great location
My husband and I very much enjoyed our week-long stay in Trastevere. Carmela was charming and very attentive, and the apartment was just right for the two of us. Everything was in walking distance, which was a major plus. While many of the area restaurants cater heavily to tourists, it was still easy to find local spots nearby. We highly recommend this apartment.

Very good base for a visit to Rome
The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Trastevere is an excellent neighbourhood for basing a stay in Rome - quiet, off the beaten track, with a lively but not expensive restaurant scene. The only disappointment was with the windows in the apartment, which all face dark interior courtyards.

Thank you Katherine for your nice review. As regards "dark "interior courtyards , as you say,most guests prefer them because they make the apartment very quiet. Trastevere is a beautiful area but it's very turistic and it can be very noisy and not relaxing if the windows face a street. Anyway I hope to meet you again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet and nice appartment
We enjoyed a pleasant stay for 9 days. Carmela is a charming and helpful host, reachable by phone and mail anytime if needed. At our request, she arranged the airport transfer, which worked perfectly. The apartment is well equipped with small kitchen, which we have only used for coffee in the morning, as many good restaurants are within easy walking distance. The best was the newly purchased wide and very comfortable bed. We slept extremely well. Carmela had provided coffee and panettone as a welcome gift. So we did not have to go shopping immediately for the first breakfast. The Panettone was delicious. January can be quite cool in Rome, so we were glad about the well functioning heating, which we could regulate ourselves. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, the windows open out onto two courtyards. That was the only small drawback that at this time of year only little daylight came in. All major attractions can be reached on foot. Bus and train are only a few meters away. All in all, we were very satisfied and can recommend the apparment.

Great place in good location.
Good apartment on 1st floor. Good facilities with plenty of hot weather and new bathroom. Bed comfortable and washing machine dish washer etc all good quality. Quiet apartment overlooking inside courtyard.great location for restaurants cafes shops etc and easy to walk to many sights.

Good location, convenient to walking and busses to Rome, good restaurants nearby.
Apartment size was good. Nice shower in bathroom. The building has an interior courtyard that transmitted noises from inside the building. The bedroom and living room each had portable AC units. The bedroom AC unit is noisy and one of the pillows needs to be replaced. The pillow was lumpy and uncomfortable. The fitted sheet was too small for the bed and I had to safety pin to to keep it in place. The building and apartment were very secure and safe! Overall our stay was a good experience.

Thank you for your review. I'm surprised to read this review because I contacted you almost every day asking you if you needed something else and if everything was working well. Your answer was :all is OK. Yes I checked the pillow (7 in the apartment) and one was a bit lumpy and I have changed it so I thank you, the fitted sheet isn't too small but not properly put on and the bedroom AC has also the function "sleep". I ask all my guests to contact me during their stay for anything they need so their stay will be better. I hope to meet you again in the future.

Quaint property with everything and great location
We had a great stay in Trastevere. Carmela was wonderful! She gave us all the important info, was accessible and helped us with when we needed information about parking overnight. The place had everything you could need and some extras. It was very cozy and is probably best suited for 4 or fewer but was very comfortable and the A/C was much appreciated! The location was also great. It felt very safe and is right around the corner from a busy piazza with morning fruit stands and evening movies and lots of great coffee shops/cafes.

Wonderful location
We very much enjoyed our stay in Trastevere. Rome was a whirlwind of sightseeing and hyperactivity to see everything we could in our stay and coming back here was such a wonderful luxury at the end of each day. The location is amazing and the place was great. Carmela was amazingly helpful.

Great owner, great location, great amenities
My two teenage daughters and I stayed at this property in June 2018. The setup was great for us, I stayed in the bedroom and the girls stayed in the living room on the pull out couch. The location was great; grocery, farmers market and several restaurants right around the corner. The Roman Forum and Coliseum were 30-40 minute enjoyable walk and Carmela made arrangements for a cab for our early morning Vatican tour. The bathroom is recently updated as is the kitchen. We also loved having access to a washing machine. We would stay here again if we return to Rome.

Great little apartment in nice neighborhood
Property is well maintained in a typical Roman building. Neighborhood was great. Lots of restaurants nearby. There was a bottle of wine and a bottle of water waiting for us when we arrived. Carmella, who welcomed us and showed us the features of the apartment, could not have done more to make us feel at home. I plan to book this apartment every time I come to Rome.

Our stay at Ilaria's apartment was generally good. The location was within walking distance of Santa Maria Piazza which was a fun place with lots going on. The apartment was adequate for 2 but too small for 4 people. It had everything we needed but be aware the bedroom air-conditioner does not cool the bedroom adequately, and if you are not able to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs, this is not the place for you. Overall the apartment was accommodating and the host Carmela was very informative.

Thank you for your review but I'd like to clarify some points.I rented the apartment to a lot of families or groups of friends with 4 and 5 people and they have always appreciated the comforts and the location . As regards the air-conditioner I haven't received any complaint till now from other guests but you could have informed me, I would have helped you. In fact at your check in I said you would have had my full assistance during your stay. I advise all renters to contact me for any need they have. The apartment is on the first Italian floor, there are only 12 steps to the apartment. On the web site there's written that there's no lift for the first floor. The building is ancient and the lift was built later but it couldn't be built after 12 steps.

Wonderful Apartment!
It’s easy to see why this apartment has so many rave reviews! It really is wonderful, the location is fantastic and the owners were a joy to work with! I had to ask questions several times prior to arriving and they responded very quickly and were incredibly helpful. Carmela was waiting for us when we arrived and made check in a breeze. We really felt very welcomed and taken care of. I definitely recommend staying here and will be booking it again! Grazie!

Very close to everything. Carmelo was wonderful!
We enjoyed our stay in Trastevere. The apartment was conveniently located close to the square with many wonderful restaurants. We were within a 30 minute walk to Vatican City and the Coliseum. Carmela was very helpful getting us settled and arranged for our transportation from the airport.

Great location for visiting Rome.
The apartment was perfectly located in a quiet area of Trastavere near a piazza with local market and nice restaurants. We did not need public transportation as all the major sites were within walking distance (30-40 minutes). Carmella was a great host and helped us in delivering a package we sent from overseas and arranged a ride to the airport. It also came with some basic food staples (like coffee-grazie) which is more than I can say for other apartment rentals I have had. You cannot go wrong with this booking this.

Lovely apartment!
We loved this apartment on the quieter side of the river. It had everything we needed including a large bottle of water, a bottle of wine, and coffee. Carmelo, the host’s mother, arranged for our transfer from the airport and our taxi to the train station when we left. She met us at the apartment to explain everything and told us to contact her with any questions. We loved having shops and restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Carmela is wonderful. Gave us lots of tips on where to eat. Trastevere is the best neighborhood you could possibly stay in when visiting Rome. We stayed there 8 days and ate at a different little restaurant each night. Just walk around the neighborhood any time of day or night and you’ll fall in love with it. We plan on going back again. This was our third stay in this wonderful apartment. Carmela is a wonderful hostess who always the extra mile to make your stay extra special. We loved Casa Ilaria and hated to leave it, and the neighbourhood..
Carmela is delightful and ready to help with any problems ( we didn’t have any). She arranged a taxi from Fiumicino on short notice because of impending rain and met us at the door to the building. It’s a lovely space, very soundproof if you were using the living room as a second bedroom, and the bathroom has just been renovated, with lots of hot water in the walk in shower. Because we were there in unusually cold weather, the heating system and insulation were important and rate a thumbs up. We turned it on in the late afternoon and off before morning and it was always comfortable when we came back in the afternoon. The bakeries around the corner are terrific and we became “regulars”. Piazza San Cosimati is lively all day, with the market in the morning and impromptu soccer games among local kids at night. If you want a “real neighbourhood” , this is it. You are also 5 minutes from the steps up the Gianicolo for great views over the city and 5 minutes from the Ponte Sisto and all the “pedonale” streets in the Centro Storico. We hope to be back next year.

Comfortable apartment that was well equipped for our needs. Carmella provided wine upon arrival as well as coffee! The apartment was spacious for two, but would probably be crowded for 3-4. We would stay there again.

Carmella was a great host. We requested extra sheets and she brought them the same day. She even helped with transportation to and from the airport. Everything was flawless. Location was perfect, easy to compute anywhere in Rome via metro/bus. Walking distance to the center of Rome, and neighborhood felt safe. Beds were so comfortable. We had all the amenities of Home.
