"PORTOGHESI APARTMENT"
e' una piccola gemma custodita al secondo piano , con ascensore, di Palazzo Scapucci meglio noto come "Palazzo della Scimmia" risalente al XVI sec.
Lo stesso è costruito intorno ad una delle 300 torri erette a Roma dalle famiglie nobili del medioevo (1040dc circa) ,di cui oggi rimanenti solo 50, spesso nascoste o inglobate negli edifici come appunto "Palazzo Scapucci " che prese poi il nome dalla famiglia che lo edificò nel XVI sec.
La leggenda narra che la culla del figlio neonato fosse spesso vigilata da una scimmietta addestrata, come uso dell' epoca , e che la stessa un giorno, rapì il bambino portandolo sulla cima della Torre.
Il nobile padre la esortò disperatamente a restituirlo affidando le sue preghiere alla Madonna finché la scimmietta scese riposizionandolo nel suo lettino. Tale evento fece gridare al miracolo e per riconoscenza alla grazia ricevuta , il nobile pretese che in cima alla torre fosse accesa una luce perpetua che pare sia tutt' oggi clausola contrattuale legata alla successione sull'edificio, pena la nullità del contratto.
I fasti e la storia di questo importante edificio sono palesemente visibili nella sua architettura e nell' arricchimento monumentale dei suoi interni , rendendolo unico nel suo genere e di inestimabile patrimonio artistico e culturale.
La sua ubicazione ne caratterizza la peculiarità rendendo tutti i servizi e le attrazioni principali più importanti ,estremamente vicini e funzionali.
È il nido ideale perfettamente posizionato al centro di Roma e a due passi dalle maggiori attrazioni turistiche . Le sue dimensioni contenute lo rendono adatto a un romantico soggiorno di coppia ; un' avventuroso single o famiglie appena nate con bambini neonati .
È consentito essere compagnati da animali di piccola taglia (30€ fee pulizie ).
La stanza da letto ampia e confortevole offre un letto matrimoniale comodo e performante per risposare dopo le lunghe passeggiate quotidiane. L' aria condizionata è silenziosa e offre la temperatura ideale desiderata.
TV a schermo piatto,wifi, guardaroba corredato di tavola e ferro da stiro sono a disposizione degli ospiti e della loro necessità.
Il piano rialzato ne accentua la rilevanza e le travi in legno grezzo decorano il soffitto tipicizzandolo .
La piccola cucina in dotazione con piastra a induzione, fornetto elettrico, bollitore , tritatutto non invidia le dimensioni di altre ; servizi di piatti, bicchieri,posate ,pentole e padelle assicurano l'efficienza.
Il bagno, nella sua essenzialità offre la funzionalità e la riservatezza che gli competono ma purtroppo ne limitano l'accesso a persone di altezze o peso corporeo importante ( preferibilmente individui sotto ai 200cm o 150 kg ).
Il palazzo dagli antichi fasti storici e la storia millenaria rende unico questo spazio incorniciandolo perfettamente nel quartiere più Amato, meglio collocato , più pulito e sicuro della Città!

is a little gem kept on the second floor, with elevator, of Palazzo Scapucci better known as "Palazzo della Scimmia" dating back to the 16th century.
It is built around one of the 300 towers erected in Rome by noble families in the Middle Ages (around 1040 AD), of which only 50 remain today, often hidden or incorporated into buildings such as "Palazzo Scapucci" which then took its name from the family that built it in the 16th century.
Legend has it that the cradle of the newborn son was often guarded by a trained monkey, as was the custom of the time, and that one day the same monkey kidnapped the child, taking him to the top of the Tower.
The noble father desperately urged her to return him, entrusting his prayers to the Madonna until the monkey came down, placing him back in his cot. This event made people cry out for a miracle and in recognition of the grace received, the nobleman demanded that a perpetual light be lit at the top of the tower, which seems to still be a contractual clause linked to the succession on the building, under penalty of nullity of the contract.
The splendor and history of this important building are clearly visible in its architecture and in the monumental enrichment of its interiors, making it unique in its kind and of inestimable artistic and cultural heritage.
