Appartamento meraviglioso!
Avevo letto ristrutturato da poco ma non mi aspettavo tutto questo. La casa è calda e accogliente, moderna ,dotata di ogni confort! Situato a soli 5 minuti a piedi da S.Pietro e 10 a minuti dal centro storico, è vicino a negozi e ristoranti aperti fino a tardi e servito molto bene da taxi e autobus... la zona ideale, nel centro della città ma incredibilmente tranquilla! Siamo venuti in macchina, abbiamo lasciato l’auto nel garage dentro lo stabile e abbiamo visitato Roma a piedi, non potendo raggiungere tutto camminando, vista la grandezza e la quantità dei siti archeologici abbiamo utilizzato gli autobus che da S.Pietro portano ovunque! Monica e Jasmin sono state molto disponibili e gentili, sempre pronte ad aiutarti per qualsiasi necessità sia in casa che fuori casa! Consiglio la casa di Monica a tutti!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in einer sehr schönen Wohnung. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin lief problemlos und war überaus freundlich. An Sauberkeit kaum zu überbieten. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein! Alles hat mehr als gepasst 😍

Great Location!
This was our first time to Rome and we were unsure about which part of Rome to stay in. After much research, we selected Roman Dream II. This was a GREAT decision. First, the location across the street from St. Peter's Square was perfect for us. In the morning and the evening, it was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We regularly travelled through the square on our way to the metro. Second, the other areas we considered--Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, area around the Trevi fountain were very loud and busy and not for us. The apartment was also a good fit for us. The bed was comfortable. We loved the electric shutters, the pocket doors, the lighting options, the kitchen supplies and the furniture. The temperature control for the apartment was easy to use. We used the stove top, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher with no problem. We appreciated having some kitchen staples, and laundry and dishwasher soap. There is a hill to the apartment...after a 12 hour day of sight-seeing, it was sometimes a challenge. I say this only to inform you that you will need to walk up this hill unless you rent a car or driver. With that said, this would be our first choice if we travel to Rome again and we would recommend it to family and friends. Monica was very helpful and arranged our transport from the airport. Grazie! P,S, Feffo makes a great cappuccino. Dinner at Dino & Tony's was a memorable experience and Ristorante Ad Hoc is a great place for a special dinner out.

This may have been my most enjoyable lodging experience ever. The apartment is conveniently located a stones throw from St.Peter’s and near several ground transportation options. Modern, well-lighted with plenty of room. Good kitchen supplies and appliances! Monica and Marzia were responsive to my inquiries and changed bedding and towels weekly. Thanks!

Near NAC
We are visiting family that attends the North American College in Rome. This property is a 10-15 minute walk to the NAC and 5-10 minute walk to St Peter’s square. Perfect location for our stay. Thank you Monica and Maritza for communicating well and making our stay wonderful.

Great stay in Rome
Our home-away-from-home in Rome was wonderful. The apartment worked beautifully. Lovely apartment and good location away from tourist hoardes but close enough for easy access to Ancient Rome. Our hosts, Monica and Marzia were great and very helpful. Highly recommend the apartment for a stay in Rome.

This property made our Roman Dreams come true
If you are reading reviews and have not yet clicked on reserve, you are making a big mistake. Book immediately. Everything described about the property is accurate and much better than we expected. You are close enough to the Vatican to hear the bells if you open the window in the morning. The nights are very quiet, the bed is super comfortable, and the shower is great. The restaurants and markets a short walk from the property are fabulous. We live in Arizona, and we are thinking of buying an air conditioner like the one in the property. It is so efficient and quiet. The communication with the host was absolutely incredible. The response was nearly instantaneous to our questions. Due to a pending taxi strike, our host made us private car reservations to get to the airport less than 12 hours before our flight departure time. The meet and greet to enter the property was very smooth. Although she spoke no English, like the description says, we had no problem communicating with her and learned all the bells and whistles of the home. I wish I could give this property and the host more than 5 stars. The walk up the hill is very doable. I would not consider it a hill, it is more of a brief incline. You see people of all ages walking up and down the incline both day and night. We will definitely rebook this property if my wish at Trevi Fountain comes true and we are blessed to return to Rome and enjoy the city.

9 nights in Rome
The apartment is a good size for a couple. The bunkbeds in the only bedroom are unusual, but if a couple has 2 small children that could work. The apartment is as depicted in the VRBO pictures, other than there are no carpets anywhere. However, the day before we were due to arrive, we were told by the owner via email that in addition to the fees we already paid, that we needed to pay a city tax of €3.50 per day per person, in cash only, upon arrival. This additional cost was not part of the booking, nor did we know about it until we received the email the day before our arrival. It should have been included on the booking, not as a surprise. Also, there were no English instructions in the “welcome book” for any of the appliances - clothes washer, dish washer, oven or microwave. When I asked the owner to provide us with instructions so we could use the appliances appropriately, she refused, and told me to go to either Google translate or to YouTube to get tutorials! She asked me why I was writing her emails asking for help when that time could have been spent on her fast Wi-Fi, looking up the appliance manuals! She shared that she had updated the English speaking instruction sheets in her “welcome book” in February, which was 6 months ago, and someone must have taken them, and that was not her problem! So while she repeatedly sent emails saying she would answer all questions we might have, when it came time to help us, she refused. We would not recommend this apartment, no.

I am very sorry for this review because assistance was requested several times by the guest and we went to the house several times to solve the various problems. Thanks to our great sense of hospitality, the following were brought at various times: extra pillows and pillowcases, crutches in the wardrobe despite the 40 already available, the guest could not find the coffee machine despite it being in plain sight in the pantry, the kettle , we went to show her how the washing machine works, despite the instructions in English! The instructions for operating the oven in English were missing, the host wrote to me on a Saturday afternoon and we were all out Roma (of course I would return for a serious problem!) and I asked the host to kindly photograph the sheet in Italian and translate it with Google traduttore or photograph the Samsung oven and he would certainly have received the instructions in English immediately. The response I received was the following: I can't spend my holidays understanding how your oven works...I won't comment

Overall, the property is nice and in a convenient location. Near the property are restaurants, bus stop, taxi station and souvenir stores. The Vatican City, is just a walking distance from the property. The only unfortunate and inconvenience situation was when we checked in and was informed about the property city tax that needed to be paid and in form of cash payment right on the spot. Luckily for us we had exchanged money when we arrived to Rome. This info was not disclosed or included in the price when we first booked the apartment. The room had a bunked and a queen bed, it would of been nice to have extra pillows. The AC must be a bigger unit to cool the apartment. It was kind of hot. Monica, the property owner is nice and was always helpful when I reached out to her. Besides the inconvenience of city tax situation and room being kind of hot, it is a nice property and convenient located.

Our family’s stay here was absolutely perfect! Monica and Marzia were easy to communicate with and very helpful. The apartment is very conveniently located right near the Vatican. Denne lejlighed har alt vores familie havde brug for til at oplade batterierne imellem alle vores udflugter og oplevelser i historiske Rom. Lejligheden er ren og velholdt. Beliggenheden på en bakke, i gåafstand til Vatikanet og med tilhørende garage, var lige hvad vi havde brug for. Monica og hendes søster Marzia er virkelig hjælpsomme. De følger op og står klar til at besvare ethvert spørgsmål vi måtte have. Selv foreslag til udflugter fik vi tilsendt. De var til stor hjælp. 1000 tak til Monica og Marzia for at imødekomme vores Roman Dream ♥️

Quiet, clean, safe, fully equipped, modern property, close to the Vatican (5 min walk), and well connected to central Rome with public transportation. Everything exactly as advertised. Has a garage spot in the basement (costs a bit extra, but it is well worth it) so you can park your car there safely. Excellent communication with the owner. Will recommend it to all my friends.

If you want to feel like you actually live in Rome...
I cannot speak highly enough about this property. It is very conveniently located to St Peter's, yet, in the evening, feels miles away from the maddening crowd. It is comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. We only stayed four days, but would have been happy to stay four months, or even four years. It would be perfect for someone on a budget, as there are full cooking facilities available, and plenty of dishes as well. To top it off, the owner and her sister are most helpful and accomodating.

Loved this place!
This is a wonderful little apartment in a nice, quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. It’s close to bus lines that will take you into the heart of Rome and an easy walk to the Vatican. Be sure to stroll through St. Peter’s plaza at night. It’s calm and beautiful. The appliances are modern and easy to use. Great dish wear. We didn’t cook other than make coffee in the morning so didn’t use pots and pans. There’s plenty of drawer and closet space (with plenty of hangers). It’s a good two block walk uphill to the entry to the apartment, so you’ll need to be in good walking shape to do that. We highly recommend it!

Amazing Host, Incredible Location
This home was absolutely amazing. Monica was so accommodating and her communications was truly fantastic. That made the whole trip less stressful and ultimately improved the overall experience. I stayed with my 2 daughters 11 and 14. They loved it. I felt safe leaving them at home while I ran to the store. I felt like the area was very safe and family friendly. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Rome. Grazie, Monica and to your sister for her help as well.

Nice property; big hill
This is a cute little property in an excellent neighborhood. Older guests may find the climb up the hill a bit taxing, but that is not a substantive complaint. St Peter's square is a stone's throw away, and good amenities a very close by as well (two grocery stores, a pharmacy, several restaurants.) Connections are also good -- San Pietro station is nearby, the #64 bus is close, Ottaviana metro stop is about 3 or 4 blocks away. What more could you ask for? On the negative side: though billed as sleeping three, the bunk beds provided don't really work unless two of the three are children, and even then you're expected to sleep all in the same room. More suitable for a single person or a couple.

I thank you Anthony for your review but I don’t understand the negative part. The description of my house in the ad is very clear and accompanied by photos. My apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed. The bunk bed is 2 meters long by 1 meter wide suitable for adults.

Beyond Expectations
I would recommend this property to anyone. Whatever issue or question we had it was addressed immediately. I always relate staying in a new apartment is just like getting a new phone. It takes a few days to get comfortable. By the 2nd day I felt like I was at home. The location is central to all the attractions you need to visit when in Rome. We love to walk so walking to places are easy for us. Building was quiet and neighbors friendly. Monica is a great host and very attentive.

You are living in a nice, safe and clean apartment complex and within 2 minute walk to some of the best and inexpensive dining options and convenient stores in the city. The apartment has everything you need to cook and clean. We didn't need to contact Monica or Christina after our initial meeting. This is literally steps away from Vatican and a 5 minutes walk to Roma S. Pietro train station.

Roman Dream Come True
If you are looking for a spot within walking distance of St. Peter’s and the Vatican, the Roman Dream is perfect. My husband and I stayed in the condo with our daughter for 3 nights and found it clean, updated, well stocked and comfortable! There are plenty of restaurants and shops to explore nearby. A taxi stand just minutes walking distance will take you the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountains, Pantheon and The Spanish Steps for under 10€. Monica and Cristina were quickly available with any questions we had. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy Rome in your place! Arrivederci Roma!!!The Smiths

Excellent Stay in Rome
We enjoyed our stay in Rome at the Roman Dream II. The location is perfect for a short walk to the Vatican and to several other main sites. We were also able to quickly figure out the bus system and ride the 64 bus to the Coliseum, the Forum and Palatine and several other sites. We were also able to walk to the Pantheon and several other sites downtown. The condo/apartment is in a nice neighborhood with easy access to many restaurants and stores. It is well kept and Monica was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!

Right outside the Vatican in a real neighborhood.
Monica's lovely apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, except a dishtowel, which miraculously arrived within minutes of our call. Monica cannot be blamed for the two rainy days, but even then, we relaxed and read books, watched the tv, which had an easy converter to English. Our prearranged ride to the airport, worked just as planned. The restaurants down the street, where locals feast, were easy to access and never a wait this time of year. One rather expensive one, La Caletas of St Peter's, was simply divine and worth every penny of the 150E bill. The local Carrefore Supermarket had ample supplies for lunch and breakfast, snacks and wine. We really enjoyed our five day stay.

Comfort and security
It must be said that one must be somewhat fit to stay at this address since walking is required to get to this apartment and to get to public transportation. I loved this place because it was very comfortable and well equipped. A hop and skip away from the Vatican. Close to restaurants, a small grocery store and San Pietro train station and bus station.

Really a Roman Dream!
We loved the location - just steps to St. Peter’s and bus 64 to the centre of the city was right at our corner. Lots of great restaurants in the area, but the apartment was beautiful. The custom finishes and quality of the beautiful renovation makes this one of the nicest places we have stayed. Monica was a great host willing to help at any time - very attentive! This will be our go to place in Rome!
