The GetInRome Vaticano apartments are located in a strategic point, a stone's throw from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican, just a few minutes away from Castel S. Angelo and the splendid Spanish Steps. Stain is not absolutely necessary.
The apartments are just a stone's throw from the Ottaviano Metro stop, with which you can reach easily and in a very short time the other important poles of the city. (Colosseum, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Circus Maximus etc.).

Just some info that may be important for you:
Most major tourist destinations, like Rome, have regulations that govern private room or apartment renting. Basically any room or apartment that rents space without respecting these regulations is not legal.
Those who aren’t authorized to be renting their properties are surely incapable or unwilling to abide by other laws that are all connected.

Why should you care?
Booking an illegal rental puts you at risk of being stranded without a place to stay if a property owner is forced to comply with the law and removes their rental from the market.

Safety. Hosts who circumvent the rental permit process are also less likely to follow regulations. If you don’t care about the law and preventing disasters, you really don’t care much about the people they might happen to.
At check in it is requested a city tax of 6 euros per person per day by the City Of Roma to pay in cash at check in.

For late arrival it must be requested and there is a cost according to the arrival time.

If the booking is for 2 persons and it is requested also the sofa bed, there is a cost of 30 euros.

la casa è curata nei minimi particolari, confortevole e molto pulita. La posizione è ideale per visitare la città anche a piedi, vicina a mezzi di trasporto, musei vaticani e negozi. Alessandra un'ottima padrona di casa, sempre disponibile. Ottima esperienza!

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo trovato tutto perfetto, bellissimo l'appartamento, impeccabile la pulizia, ed è d'obbligo fare un encomio alla proprietaria, altro punto di forza di questa struttura. Gentilezza e professionalità fanno veramente la differenza. Appartamento da provare e riprovare.

Ho soggiornato in diversi appartamenti, mai nessuno mi ha impressionato positivamente così come questo, Proprietaria professionale ed eccezionalmente gentile. Appartamento impeccabilmente pulito e bellissimo, con soffitti alti ed un design di alto livello. La posizione è eccellente: molti monumenti e piazze sono raggiungibili facilmente a piedi o con l'ausilio dei mezzi pubblici (sia autobus che metro) le cui fermate sono in prossimità dell'appartamento. Se in futuro ritornerò a Roma non ho il minimo dubbio sul fatto che sceglierò nuovamente di soggiornare quì.

If you have an opportunity to stay here, just do it. Alessandra will make sure everything runs smoothly. She made wonderful suggestions on places to eat, arranged for the cab to pick us up and was a pleasure to deal with. This apartment is something beautiful, it exceeded our best expectations.

This apartment is a gem both for beauty and for comfort. From the first sight we could love the beauty of the decor and the sensation of cleanliness all around but then, bit by bit, we were able to appreciate every touch. WiFi is super fast and we could use it for a couple of urgent matters we had to solve urgently. The kitchen is definitely new and very modern. There is an induction plate that works properly. There are two coffee machines, one for American coffee and one for italian espresso, both very good. The microwave is fast and easy to use. The bathroom is outstanding. Both the sink, toilet, and bath are in separate rooms. The sink is in a small changing area connected to the bathroom, while the shower and bath tub room is completely separate creating a space for rest. Three people can be using the different facilities at the same time! The bedroom is quiet and has a real double bed where we had the best sleep experience we ever had in an hotel or rental. We could compare it to the mattress we had in our recent stay in the Sheraton Hotel of Paris and this one was of a higher level, we could wake up rested, refreshed and ready to begin our tours. Location is perfect for sightseeing, with the Vatican 5 minutes walk. Restaurants, cafes, pizzaria, pasta take away (on the same street), bakery around the corner, supermarket one minute walk, metro a few steps away. We did not want to leave but we had to...work was waiting for us. Now we are planning our next stay and we can't wait to come back.

As other travelers have commented about how great this apt is, it really does not do it justice. Alessandra was incredible from top to bottom. As far as the apartment itself....words honestly can't describe it accurately. The bedroom was so charming and romantic. There was a comfortable living room, fully stocked kitchen and one spotless bathroom. It was WAY more than we hoped. We were literally a 5 minute walk to the Vatican. I would 1000% recommend anyone to stay here during their stay in Rome. I will, of course.

This place is truly surprising. It is in a perfect position, the Host is superb and extremely helpful. We had the Unit 2, which was immaculate throughout. It is tastefully decorated with frescos, paintings, drawings.. We love italian art and we were inside of it during our whole stay! We will stay here every time we can!

It was so funny! When Alexandra opened the door of the apartment we were incredulous. The apartment was too beautiful for the price we paid and we really thought that we had to pay something more or that the apartment was a shared apartment and not a private one, because it was too elegant and beautiful..but Alexandra told us that it was exactly the Unit that we had reserved and it was a private apartment, all for us :-)) ! The apartment is much better than in photos, bigger than what we could imagine, with very high ceilings, paintings, frescos.. so elegant. The bathroom is very particular and comfortable. In the Relax room my wife could have a shower while I could have a confortable bath in the bath tub, in the same time. The toilet is in a separate room, such as in France and in Japan, very elegant and comfy. The bedroom is quiet and with top bedding. We fell in love with the big fresco behind the bed. I would love to have one in my bedroom! The kitchen is amazing too, elegant and handy, with all that we needed. The coffee machine makes a very good coffee and the toaster is good also for sandwitches. Need look no further.

Before booking this Get in Rome apartment we examined in detail about 30-35 rentals, more or less with good reviews and charming photos. We chose this one because it was the only one unambiguous about it's license as holiday apartment and because we considered it far above the others in terms of reviews and communication. I don't want to talk about the elegance of the design or about the architecture of the apartment because it was perfect for me but you know, there's no accounting for taste, and I think that other reviewers already talked about it in detail (and correctly). I want to talk about what goes above personal taste. Cleaning: It was the top. We checked corners and they were spotless too. Communication: In real time by WhatsApp so that we felt safe each time. Punctuality: Alessandra was there when we arrived and she arrived 5 min. before the check-out time, perfect. Information: we found in the apartment a book full of info about our surrounding area, with maps and tips. Excellent..and we also bought a painting from Alessandra who is a fine contemporary italian artist!

This apartment is in an excellent location and we loved it. The master bedroom is spacious and clean such as the kitchen, the lounge and the two bathrooms (one for the shower and bath tub, one for the toilet). The bathroom divided in 2 separate areas inside of the apartment was really great and I will copy it in my apartment! I coud go to the toilet while my wife was showering and vice-versa. The best option for not loosing time! Host is friendly and very helpful. She offered us help many times with restaurants and other questions also by WhatsApp answering in real time! There are dozens of restaurants back to back offering many choices. It is a very short walk to the Vatican. There is the Ottaviano Metro Station right behind the corner. A Carrefour supermarket 2 minutes walk and a tasty bakery just around the corner too. Don't loose the pastry shop on Via Ottaviano, a 1 min. walk to the apartment, on the right side! Highly Recommended in all of it!!

I want to share our experience because I think it is very important for tourists. Do you know that holiday apartments have to be registered and should have a license? We did not know :/ We were ignorant travelers and we paid the consequences. We booked a holiday rental, listed online, thinking that good reviews meant a safe and good stay. We were totally wrong! At the check-in moment two inspectors stopped our host, who was waiting for us along the street, and began to talk to him. We did not understand so very much, only that he did not have a license..and after about 15 minutes we were invited to find another accommodation. We were literally shocked and we did not know what to do. After a bit my wife found the contact details of Alessandra (we stayed at her apartment last year. We would have booked also this year but her apartment was fully booked..). Briefly: she saved us. Alessandra told us that she had inaugurated a new apartment and that it was available!!! Then she also told us that, most of the rentals in Rome don't have a license so that, what happened to us, may happen each time. She told us to always ask for the license of the apartment because it is the most important thing to know. Now I want to talk about the apartment, because it deserves a separate chapter. Obviously it has a regular license..but not only. Spotless, 2 bathrooms, cool and modern kitchen, elegant and quiet master bedroom with frescos and top bedding. The bathroom is separated in two rooms, one only for bath tub and huge walk-in shower, the other only for toilet. We found this solution really comfortable and hygienic! Fast and free Wi-Fi.. Top location, about 5 minutes to the Vatican museums and 2 minutes to the subway Ottaviano. S. Peter's square about 5-7 minutes walk. Market and luggage storage on the same street, bakery around the corner.. Try the Vito&Dina restaurant for the carbonara pasta, it is delicious. Alessandra suggested it to us and we loved it! Fantastic pastry just around the corner too, on via Otaviano. Castroni under the stairs of the building..we bought delicious chocolates called gianduiotti, try them! A memorable stay.....thank you so very much Alessandra!

This is the place to stay in Rome!This will be my only place to stay whether I visit Rome. Right below Vatican with a metro stop right across the corner. Alessandra is a fantastic manager, she will give you helpful advice and is amazingly courteous. The apartment is spotless, with amazing artworks, modern amenities and 2 bathrooms. We loved the huge shower! After 2 days in Venice where the shower was not praticable.. (a normal italian shower...they said..). this accommodation was a joy! This is the place to stay in Rome!

Stayed with my wife for three nights just before Christmas. The apartment was large, well appointed and extremely clean. We were on the second floor easily accessed by lift and was amazed how quiet it was both day and night. Always a bonus. The location is unbeatable. Approximately 200m from Vatican Museums and the subway Otaviano. The Owner is extremely nice and friendly and will go that extra mile to make your stay memorable. All in all we thoroughly recommend these apartments.

We are a family of four (two teenagers) returning from a 12 day trip to Europe. This apartment was the last night of our vacation and a highlight of our trip. We stayed in the Unit 2 which was very reasonable compared to the prices we paid elsewhere in italy. We felt like royalty in a palace. The apt was in the perfect location. An easy walk to the Vatican city and Sistine Chapel. The manager, Alessandra was the best. While staying at the apartment, we realized that our flight time had been changed and we had missed our flight. Alessandra gave us her personal phone so that we could call. She was so understanding and helped to make our unplanned layover in the city a treat! She even called our taxi and waited for them to make sure we were given a fair price. Service alone this is the best place to stay in the city! You can tell that customer service is top priority!

The visit to the GetInRome Unit was perfect in so many ways. One thing is the building with the feeling of historical times. Another thing is the great location for trams, metro or a walk to all the great sights of Rome. Start with the Hop on - Hop off tourist trip and get to know the city by bus and carrozella. Then buy a three days ticket to all public transport (bus, tram and metro) and enjoy exploring the history of Rome When you in addition experience a fast and free access to WiFi and a great service you can not ask for more. The shower and bath were amazing both in atmosphere and comfort. This is THE Place!

Our family of 4 have just stayed the final night of a 3 night stay at this wonderful apartment. The bedroom is large and literally beautiful with a cool kitchen that is well equipped even though we didn't use much of it. The bathroom is excellent with very modern fittings and fixtures and lots of hot water. The heating was perfect and welcoming after walking around Rome. The apartment is perfectly located and a short walk to all of the "must do" attractions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone with a young family!!

Very impressed and pleased with this lovely apartment . Very friendly owner - we got there early and were able to check in . Perfect location a few steps to the Vatican . We were also very close to several great restaurants ( Vito&Dina, Matricciano ) and the S. Angel Castle. Very quiet, we slept like babies! Huge bathroom with separated wc and cool kitchen . We would def return and highly recommend it !

Having visited over 30 major European cities and resided in everything from Ritz-Carlton's to Vacation apartments, I have to say, this was hands down our favorite rental. 1. Best Location: The property is located in the heart of the Vatican, just a few minutes from the Sistine Chapel. We literally walked all over Rome and found this to be the ideal location thanks to it's central location, accessibility to public transportation and to all of the sights. 2-Great Property: The apartment is incredible on all fronts and leaves you with the feeling that you have been able to step back in time. Everywhere you look there is another piece of artwork. The modern kitchen had a sink, refrigerator, microwave, induction plate and all of the basics (plates, glasses, silverware, etc...). The bathroom was gorgeous and the whole apartment was beautifully adorned with unique furnishings. 3-Helpful and Friendly Owner: During our stay, Alexandra proved to be an invaluable resource for area information, assistance and anything we needed. 4-Price: To stay in a comparative hotel suite, without a kitchen, our family of four (ages 6, 14 and two adults) would have had to get two rooms and it would have cost nearly four times as much. In closing, we can't say enough about this great property. We'll be back.

Just checked out earlier today, and I have to say.....it was one of the most delightful experiences that I've ever had. The apartment is situated literally just a short 4-5 minute walk from the Vatican and a short walk to Spanish Steps. My apartment was spacious, spotless....complete with a fully functional kitchen with a refrigerator, induction plate, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The bathroom was very modern and up-to-date (nicer than what you will find in some of the "nicer hotels" in NYC!). The shower was very spacious....unlike what you will find in other European apartments where one person can hardly fit in a shower. The shower was definitely awesome! On a side note, I was afraid that I would be late to the train station (I got carried away touring at the Vatican) on my return trip back, and the owner (Alessandra) gave me all the info to arrive on time! Now THAT is high quality service! I've never in all of my years of traveling for business and pleasure (both in the USA and in Europe) had an owner go out of their way to help me. I will most definitely stay again here and will heartily recommend this place to all of my family and friends who may visit Rome in the future. I look forward to staying there again soon!
