Great location, comfortable rooms
If you are looking to be in an area convenient to great restaurants, shopping and sights this is it. Owners and check in were easy and wonderful. As other reviews have said it is loud at night, we were there for the holidays and had some major revelers but it never lasted long or was outrageous. Great property

Safe and comfortable apartment in a great location
We really enjoyed this apartment. The hosts were super responsive and gave us lots of information about the place as well as extensive guides about Rome. The apartment was very comfortable and the decor was unusual - and lovely. One of our group really enjoyed playing the piano! The lighting was beautiful. We really liked the neighborhood but it was quite noisy in the evenings.

Charming stay in Rome
Travestere is a great neighborhood to stay in while Rome. It’s a charming area filled with restaurants and bars. I agree with a previous reviewer that it can be noisy at night, but this wasn’t an issue for my family. Overall, the location was convenient for us to travel to other tourist attractions. Communication with the host was a breeze and we appreciated their timely responses to our questions and concerns. The AC in the apartment was definitely a major bonus given the hot summer temperatures! Since it was so hot during our stay, we were glad there was a washer in the apartment (especially since we were only traveling with a carryon). It ensured our clothing remained clean for our next stop during our trip. Loved the interior of the apartment too! Looks exactly like the pictures. We would choose to stay here again if we returned to Rome.

Great location for exploring Rome
Great property and location. Trastevere is a fun and vibrant neighborhood with lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. And relatively easy walking access to all of the major Rome sites. Highly recommend!!

Spectacular experience
This place is awesome. Centrally located in and exciting and vibrant neighborhood. Large majestic rooms. Beds so comfortable.Our family group is 3 generations. The teens had so much fun exploring the nightlife This was a blissfully happy experience of all of us.

Charming apartment in fun area
Charming building and apartment convenient to everything and right on the Tiber. Lots of young people in neighborhood hanging out, having a good time, listening to street music. It’s a fun area but loud until about 3:00 am. Host was very helpful arranging transport from airport and to train station.

Great place to stay while in Rome
Charming place in a perfect location. Close to so many great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend - we were first timers to Rome and felt like we were in the perfect location to experience everything. Major sites are within walking distance but due to the high temperatures while we were there, we opted for an uber or taxi part of the time which was no problem since we were on a main street. Super easy check in and check out. Great place to stay while in Rome!

Heart of the Action
Looking to be in the center of it all? Then this home is it! Ideally located at the foot of a busy bridge we enjoyed this beautiful home and active neighborhood. Very entertaining people watching and partying. Great place to stay with all the comforts provided.

I have no complaints. The apartment was as expected. Easy check in and excellent host. The neighborhood can be loud at night (earplugs) but the food around was fantastic! Well worth it.

Trastevere fun
The apartment was was clean and big enough for 4 adults. We were met by a property person who was very helpful. Located at the Ponte Sisto bridge and very convenient to getting to the sights. All within 30 minutes or less. It is a vibrant and fun area so the noise level is high into the late night and early morning. But close the windows, put on the Air conditioner and pop in some ear plugs. House red wine helps too. It’s a fun area and had a blast.

Great Location
Wonderful location right in all the action but high enough that it wasn’t loud. Plenty of seating in living room to relax after long days and listen to the lovely record collection. Communication with Sara excellent. Response to any problems immediately and completely addressed. Safe building with adorable lift. Comfy beds and working AC! Highly recommend.

Good visit!
Definitely a very active nightlife area, as long as you know that going in you will like it. Great location, safe, access to everything. But- it will be loud until 2-3am with young people outside at bars. We had the windows closed and ear plugs and it was fine and worth it for the location and price!

Amazing Stay in Trastevere!
Our family of four adults (two parents and two college age kids) stayed here for 3 nights the first week of June. Great communication, convenient airport pick up, and Sarah welcomed us with all the info we needed for our stay. The location is perfect, if you want to make Trastevere your home base while visiting Rome! The 4 of us slept comfortably in the 3 bedroom layout. The family/living room is cozy and it was nice having a table to sit at for breakfast and computer work. We loved opening the windows to lean out and watch the passers by and diners in the alleys below us! The owners have decorated the apartment with gorgeous antique furniture, lovely artwork, and finds from what seem like many world travels. It’s not your average apartment rental, with second hand finds or big box store furnishings! As others reviewers have noted, the back of the apartment faces two very active streets, full of restaurants, bars and shops—which makes it really convenient to grab a meal or enjoy local shopping. But the same streets fill with locals and tourists in the evening hours and the festivities get pretty loud! We’re night owls and knew to expect this, so it wasn’t a problem. Every night, the party seemed to die down about 12:15am. We had some issues with water pressure and the temps switching quickly from hot to cold, while showering. Also, it would have been helpful to have paper towels and tissues available. We ended up using toilet paper for all our paper needs. Overall, we had a very positive stay at the Wanderlust House and would recommend it to family and friends visiting Rome.

A stunning property in the vibey Trastevere area We loved the aprtmemt and all it had to offer. Close to shopping, restaurants and bars. Stunning Apartment
This is an incredible apartment in a super location. Its across from the Tiber river with immediate walking bridge access to downtown. Great location with lots of bars and restaurant close by.I would definitely stay here in the future.

Great apartment in busy area
This apartment was great for our stay in Rome. It’s as described and more charming than expected. The check-in process was super easy and Francesco was incredibly friendly. We had a very minor issue with the safe (user error) and the owners were very responsive with a solution. I echo the comments about noise. This neighborhood is very young, lively, and loud every night. Each night one of us was woken up by noise. Overall, a good value and pleasant stay, but might consider a quieter neighborhood for my next visit.

Wonderful apartment
This is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location. The place is spacious, surrounded by lovely places to eat and drink. And it's very easy to walk to the Vatican or cross the river and reach the ancient historic sites. My family and I loved our time here very much. An airport pickup and drop off was very easily organized, and there is a great info book at the flat that lists great cafes and pizzerias, how to purchase bus tickets, where to catch the bus, opening hours of major sites, etc. Very helpful. One thing, if you have any trouble with noise, it really is noisy late into the night, at least it was during the week leading up to Easter when we visited.

Atmospheric, authentic and well located
We were a party of six and stayed here for our first time in Rome. We chose this property because of the atmosphere which looked (and was!) so unusual for a holiday flat. Communication with the manager was fantastic, and we used the airport shuttle he organised, that was very easy. The apartment was very clean, with lovely furnishing. Obviously someone’s private holiday place rather than a profit-maximising, IKEA filled collection of white MDF and plastic. Weak point: The kitchen. Very few utensils (knives, boards, cups, ..) - don’t plan a cooking fest Here! But we didn’t cook and it was fine for breakfast. There’s a great cafe in the building, so even that is unnecessary. We enjoyed the piano very much and had brought smaller instruments with us to play together, that worked very well. Other reviews had mentioned the noise and I thought it would be fine beginning of November - no way! Amazing how Romans can party in the street even in November drizzle!! We aren’t the partying types and had the kids with us but all agreed the street festival atmosphere outside was actually quite fun to go to sleep to. Be warned of street sweepers at 7am though, clattering empty bottles down the cobbled alleys. All in all a very special place in the midst of Rome!

Great location and apartment
4 days in a great Trastevere location with easy access to and from all the major sites off Rome. A great neighbourhood to enjoy in the evenings and thoughtful hosts providing advice to get you feeling local. The noise mentioned in other reviews is countered by earplugs and access to a lively area with great food and bars.

Great apartment in Trastevere
The apartment was perfect for our group (three adults, three kids). The location is very lively, though we did not use the ear plugs that were kindly provided. We walked all around Trastevere, and across the Ponte Sisto into the heart of Rome. The bedrooms have plenty of room, and the living room and dining room were very comfortable. The air conditioning was a blessing in the late-July heat. Communication was excellent - they helped arrange a van for us from the airport, and there was someone waiting to receive us upon arrival. We would happily stay here again.

Charming flat in an amazing location.
Our family with 3 kids stayed in this apartment for 4 days, and had a wonderful time. Sara greeted us and showed us around the apartment and it was as charming as it looks in photos. The location is absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Rome apartment with a wonderful location. Loaded with great amenities.
This Trastevere apartment was perfect for six of us. We received a thorough walk-thru and tour of every aspect of the apartment. Plus, everything is labeled in English along with a comprehensive binder giving excellent suggestions on where to go, what to do, etc.. The location of this apartment is fantastic. We walked to the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Coliseum. We also jumped in cabs and zipped through the city, as well. The neighborhood is full of tons of restaurants, gelaterias, shops, etc... The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with all essential items. The living room has comfortable furniture, the bedrooms are good-sized. A fantastic place to stay in Rome.

Appartement très bien situé
Merci encore pour cette location très bien située, avec lignes de bus tram, et taxi à proximité, quartier très agréable avec des petits restaurants proche de la location. accueil agréable, E. Buffa nous à réservé un taxi pour notre arrivée et notre départ vers l'aéroport. Seul petit problème le quartier est animé et bruyant le soir mais cela ne nous fait pas regretter notre choix...
