“We stayed here over St. Patrick's Day weekend and it was great. The neighborhood is quiet and there's lots of good places to eat close by. It was about a 35 minute drive to the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium which was perfect. The host Vic was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions I had. If you have little kids and are looking for a quiet place close to the city this is a great option. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“The host did not disclose that they live on the property. The house was not ready at 4pm. When we arrived at 6pm, the host was still inside cleaning. We did not stay here because we were uncomfortable with the host living on the property and numerous other things. There was a weird door behind a mirror on the wall. “Our stay was amazing! My family of 6 (kids 10, 9, 6, 18mon) had more than enough space for everyone to do their own thing! There was a pack n play on property which was helpful. My only suggestion would be some sort of available baby gate for stairs protection (we were able to improvise) as well as a highchair option. We had local family so was able to borrow one. “Check in went really well.The rooms were much darker than anticipated. The pictures online looked much brighter. The furniture needs a some TLC--a lot of chipped paint, torn back rest on the couch, well-loved "sitting spots" on the couches. Stains on the carpet areas.It was a clean place but for what we paid per night, I kinda expected a little higher quality details.Host interaction was very prompt, expectations well laid out.
