“The best way to describe this hotel is: straight out of a fairytale! The view from literally anywhere you look are absolutely spectacular. The hotel is 150 years old but they have done an outstanding job at conserving it authentic and classic look but with some modern and classic touches for comfort. You feel like you are transported in a time-capsule machine to a classic, glamorous and beautiful place. Certainly an experience that I would highly recommend ”

Enjoyed the outdoors restaurant- food very good and the outdoors areas were stunning. Wish food service in the outside garden went into the evening as it suited all age groups.”

“La dame a notre arrivée tellement sympathique, elle nous a donné tous les feuillets et informations pour se rendre en transport en commun pour la montagne Interlaken! Chambre bon lit, bonne literie, bon déjeuner avec plusieurs choix. Seul bémol pas de clim mais nous début juin avons profité du vent avec fenêtre et porte ouverte toute la nuit A l'étage. Balcon avec vue sur les montagnes *Pas de produit de soins , ni shower cap mais ça semble être la norme en Suisse. Le lendemain on avait oublié...

“the rooms was very small, without air conditioned (with outside temperature of 32°C we missed it), and a very small bathroom (no space for the sink, which was located near the beds!). the room was on the first floor right above the main street, and although the village is quite, the traffic (motorbikes) woke us up at 7. nice small terrace with lake view. breakfast at the restaurant in a nice position near the lake. we also had dinner there, not bad, but very expensive and far from Italian...

“This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony. The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes. We look forward to another stay in the coming years. ”

“Very modern and clean. Beds were comfortable and amenities were awesome. Had trouble finding parking especially since we reached at 12:30 in the night. As most European hotels there was no AC and it was very hot in the room even though we had fans. I don’t think the self check-in was very efficient when it came to getting answers to some imminent questions like parking, AC, possibility of a late checkout.”

“Wir buchten das Hotel für eine Nacht (Sa/So). Sowohl die Zimmer wie auch die Badezimmer sind gross und haben alles was man benötigt. Das Frühstück biett einen grosse Auswahl und ist im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Infolge der zentralen Lage (ca 100 m vom Bahnhof) ist die Bar auch von Einheimischen frequentiert. Das gleiche gilt für das Restaurant B5 welches sich im gleichen Haus befindet.”

“Le rapport qualité-prix n’y est pas. L’hôtel est parfaitement situé (au bord du lac), la chambre était spacieuse avec une excellente literie mais la salle de bain était vieillotte et les terrasses mal entretenues. Il faut payer de nombreux suppléments alors que le prix de base est déjà élevé (lit bébé, parking, eau dans la chambre,…). Le restaurant de l’hôtel n’est pas bon et le petit déjeuné très décevant.”

"La sistemazione è in una posizione comoda, a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro. Per il livello di comfort offerto il prezzo è un po' alto ma prevedibile in una località svizzera in piena stagione. Tuttavia dobbiamo segnalare un doppio errore: prima ci è stata addebitata la tassa di soggiorno al doppio del prezzo previsto. Per fortuna ci siamo accorti e ci hanno accordato il rimborso (senza scusarsi). Un errore può capitare, salvo che al check-out la tassa di soggiorno ci è stata chiesta nuovamente. Ho dovuto fare vedere gli addebiti sulla mia carta di credito per evitare di pagarla di nuovo!"
