Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos.”

“The room was very neglected & needs completely refurbishing. The springs could be felt through the sheets on the double bed mattress. The fridge freezer was noisy & in the bedroom area. All the paintwork was chipped & worn & the bathroom vanity stained & old. Flooring in the bathroom was marked, dirty & lifting in places. I've stayed in many places & thought this was very overpriced for the conditions. It looks like the room has never been redecorated since the motel was built. ”

“My family and friends really had a wonderful stay at Magnolia Park. In fact, this was the best accommodation we have stayed so far! The cottage was very tidy and spacious with complete kitchen appliance and cutlery. Andrew was also very nice and accommodating. We even had a quick tour at the farm, picked some fruits, and the kids also enjoyed the animals. Unfortunately, we were not able to take a dip at the pool since the water was freezing cold. Nevertheless, we still had an awesome time!...

“Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. “The cutest little lodge with wonderful hosts. The place is bigger than expected and would be perfect for families or larger groups. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. It was a hidden gem and we woke up to a beautiful sunrise. Great location for those visiting Hobbiton.”
