“De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages). “Ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit Pool und Golfplatz. Es dauert ca. 25 Minuten, wenn man in die Altstadt laufen möchte. Unser Zimmer war recht klein und extrem heiß (Südwestseite bei Außentemperaturen von 35 Grad), da es keine Klimaanlage gibt. Die Fenster lassen sich nur kippen, nicht komplett öffnen. So konnten wir nicht gut schlafen. Wenigstens gab es einen Pool zum Abkühlen. Das Frühstücksangebot war gut, nur der Kaffee war schlecht. Geschmacklos wie braunes Wasser.
