“When our initial room didn't have much of a window, the staff was very helpful and quickly switched us to an available room with a balcony for a nominal fee. The place has a cool retro beach-motel vibe, which some may enjoy more than others but we liked. “Went just to spend the night as there was a concert nearby I was attending. We got into the room and the oder of the air conditioner was musty. That was a concern. Worst of it, when we got back from the event to go to bed, we pulled the sheets down and the bed was full of bedbugs. Sickening. We left and demanded a refund, and the night clerk said I need to call the manager in the morning. “The property is very old and dingy. I found the rugs to be dirty and the bathroom was moldy around the tub and shower. The TV only worked partially continuing to go in and out. I requested to change rooms and they did accommodate me to a better room. More than likely it is my last time at the hotel, even though it is very close to where I want to be.”
