“The location of this little motel is perfect if you're taking the ferry to Block Island the next day. It's just two miles from the ferry port. We would have enjoyed staying here even if we were not going to Block Island, though—it's sparkling clean with a ton of little touches that turn a nice motel into a great one. There are towel bars and hooks in all the right places, and even an electrical outlet at the top of the refrigerator for plugging in an electric cooler or whatever else you need to...

“The history of the hotel is amazing, the cleanliness, not so much. Hairs on our sheets, sticky bathroom floor, rude staff members, inadequately supplied toiletries. Would never recommend anyone pay $400 for this. Better places with better customer service in the area.”

“When I went into the room, it smelled musty. I immediately was given another room. It was better. I don't know what they use to launder the bed linens but, they didn't smell good. The room was clean and the bathroom was too. The remote control for the TV didn't work well. I could only search a few channels until I had to keep on pressing the OK button for more channel options. It was annoying. The toiletries & coffee station in the room are very minimal. The furniture could use an upgrade...

“We stayed at this hotel so we could be near my son as it was parents weekend at URI. Lovely grounds and definitely a winery feel to it. Check in and out was simple. Our Room was Lovely... but just a few things could be improved on..expensive hotel so I suppose I expected more... the was a wedding going on so there was loud music until approx. 11pm with lots of guests returning to their rooms making alot of noise. No coffee machine in the room. In our room the bathroom sink had no area to place...

“We look for reasonable, clean places to rest and clean up on our travels across country. Most often for one night at a time. This place fit our bill. Nothing fancy but slept well. The man that checked us in was friendly and nice. The flower beds and roses seemed tenderly cared for. After our experience the following night, at the OYO in Wilkes-Barre, PA, this place was fantastic.”

“Sweet little seaside motel with glorious views of the ocean. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and appeared to be recently remodeled. Only complaint is the linens were a little scratchy, and the pillows were hard. I also understand everyone has a preference and mine may not be the same as others. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.”

“The room was clean. The hotel is dated. It needs updating. The showerhead was taped to the tile. The towel bar broke off after placing a towel on it. The mirrors were starting to peel. And the heat did not work that well at night time. The linens on the bed are old. We found no problem with cleanliness, but everything is quite old.
