“We have used the Narrow Boat before and always had a pleasant stay. The rooms are separate but you can easily access the pub and restaurant. Food is very good and staff very helpful.”

“Nice location , price and ambiance BUT I had three simple questions when I checked in. The receptionist knew the answer to none of them ( had to check ) : would there be coffee in the morning ? Answer No, not til the restaurant opened at 830 am !!!( Old COFFEE Inn ?!? ). Was the restaurant still open ( closing at 8pm ...didn't know what they were serving ). Would the 8pm World Cup match be shown ? ( Mind you there was a sign out front advertising it ). NO, they only put the TV on for England...

“Fantastic and very unique place to stay with a great vibe. Our one bedroom suite was huge. With a very private bedroom. Even though it’s right above the busy bar and outside eating area, it was still quiet and peaceful. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast as well. Fantastic place to stay after a day in the Cotswolds. There are very few rooms here so book far in advance . I hope I can stay here again someday.”

“Nice staff and great location if you're visiting the castle. But let down by shower head always dropping so I ended up holding it while using and absence of any shampoo/shower gel. Also it was a very hot evening when we stayed but the windows keept shutting close not allowing fresh air to come in. Overall for the price and the one night it was fine. One tip: if you're arriving after 5pm, there are plenty of on street parking which is free 5pm till 9am.”

“Room was clean and staff worked to keep it so. Staff were good at providing a decent service and giving advice. No problem with parking although I do not think it was full up whilst we stayed there. Habe stayed at the inn 3 times and have always been satisfied with way were treated. For the future feel that the inn could benefit by introducing air conditioning.”

“Room was clean except burns in carpets. Flies in restaurant- get a big bug zapper! Staff were superb Dinner extremely tasty except charge for pods which lay empty of £45.00 for 2 hours. Breakfast was lovely Location is great but a lot of road noise all day and night from everything from motor bikes to tractors. Property has 2 windows to counter noise but still prevalent.”

“Ci siamo innamorati di questo posto e ci è dispiaciuto tanto passarci una notte sola! Il pub è molto caratteristico e la camera era accogliente e pulita, con tutti i prodotti necessari e anche qualche coccola in più, molto apprezzata, come cioccolata e biscotti. Menzione d'onore al letto, che era comodissimo. Abbiamo dormito veramente bene! Anche la colazione ottima!!! E' possibile ordinare un piatto a scelta all'interno del loro menu alla carta, estremamente completo, e i piatti erano veramente...

“Perfect stay”

“The room itself was spacious and clean. The pub was great loads of drink selection and the staff were all friendly and super helpful. Our only negative was weather related. The fan in the room didn't help with the heat at all. We had to keep the window open to try and cool the room. On the Saturday it was fine, however on the Friday the noise went on until around 1am from the pub garden. If it wasn't so abnormally hot we could have closed the window and there would have been no bother. We...
