We picked this place for its location and conveniences to the center of town and surrounding businesses.The check in process was easy and had no difficulty with access to the rental or using the amenities. “Nice, quiet and private location on a property filled with trees. Saw plenty of deer! Great wooded residential neighborhood for walking and yet so convenient to shops and restaurants just around the corner. The home was very clean and the homemade chocolate chip cookies were delicious! Would definitely stay here again if visiting Athens….”

“It's a cute little old house in downtown Monroe. We traveled for a wedding nearby. It perfectly fits 5 persons. The backyard is very nice. The kitchen has been fully remodeled and the appliances are new also. Parking for at least 2 cars. A couple of details, we were 4 and there were just 3 towels. The whole house was clean but we found a dead cockroach in the main bedroom. Everything else was good. ”

“This was one of the nicest spots I’ve stayed at before. The only remotely negative thing was that a couple towels were stained and it says they provide shampoo but there wasn’t any. I would recommend updating pictures of the back porch, because we took advantage of the outdoor seating and there is a grill that we didn’t know they had. I loved the set up of the house and the communication with the host was fantastic. Would 100% stay here again.”

“Our stay at the Dawg House could not have been better! The property is just as described and suited our family of 3 adult couples perfectly. Great location - Only 10 minutes to downtown with other restaurants and amenities in even closer proximity. We hope to be back!!”
