The Magnetawan River runs throughout the Burks Falls/Magnetawan district, at times charging rapidly through rocky areas and at other times meandering almost imperceptibly through flat areas. Waterfront The cottage is set quite close to the waterfront, allowing magnificent views up and down the river from the deck and dock area. The water deepens quickly from the riverbank and edge of the dock, allowing for good swimming and fishing. Small craft can be launched directly from the property.
Winter Notes The cottage is on a municipally maintained road and is easily accessed in all seasons, however the Huntsville/Magnetewan area can be prone to large snowfalls, so it is best to be prepared anytime during the Winter months.
