“A great stay with a great host. Very relaxing environment with a cool family story. Breakfast is yummy. A short drive away to St Emillion. Highly recommend.”

“This is a rustic, two bedroom cottage property about a 35 minute walk (uphill!) to St Emilion old town. Located in the the vineyards, it's fine if you have a bicycle or similar. “Lovely hosts with great local recommendations. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Spent a full day relaxing by the pool during a heat wave. Easy access to St Emilion. Comes with a bonus friendly fat chateau cat on the grounds.”

I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region.”

This is a hidden gem and run by the owners from the heart. Would have loved to keep this a secret but just have to share it. Thank you thank thank you for the incredible days.”

One cannot go wrong with the comfortable and large rooms here, very isolated that we were able to recover from our jet lag (from the USA) without any road or civilization clatter and noise. A big thank you to the efficient staff - especially to...
