“Our room exceeded our expectations. It was in excellent condition, as though it had been recently renovated. Staff were lovely and made our stay comfortable. Delicious breakfast included and Tuesday Indian banquet on site made a delicious evening meal. ”

“The staff were very friendly on arrival however there were some miscommunication and we were left for half an hour waiting to be checked in whilst we were missing the wedding which we questioned, the room was okay, quite small and basic but no issues, unfortunately there were skid marks in the toilet from someone else which then made us question the cleanliness, the light had a sensor in the bathroom and it kept going on and off during the night making a clicking noise which was quite annoying. ”

“While I appreciate this is a historic and therefore old property, which is what attracted us to book, the building could do with some tlc. The outside of the building windows looked dreadful and need repainting, particularly back of the building overlooking the car park. The inside walls up the stairs and in corridors need painting. It needs a refresh as it is looking tired inside. Having said that we enjoyed our stay and had a very good time. We would stay again.”

“Spotlessly clean, super location and the parking space was a godsend with how busy Broadway is during New Year. Having stayed in the village for the past 15 years this was one of the best properties that I have stayed in. ”

“The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay”

“Broadway in the Cotswolds was beautiful, we had a lovely stay at the lodge. The coffee, tea, cookies and milk were a very nice touch. We had an issue with the hot plate and the staff went above and beyond having our breakfast cooked at the restaurant below. Hopefully one day we will be back! Cheers”

“A shame breakfast not cooked to order. Impressive dining room, just avoid tables on a through- route. Well staffed all great at up-selling. Had a room in the main house which had difficult access to the bathroom, especially at night. (Three narrow steps up). Check in/put very smooth. Comfortable lounge areas”
