“We stayed one week in the Cottswald, and this was by far the nicest place we stayed. It was truly a resort experience. The grounds were gorgeous, and there were many indoor and outdoor seating areas including 3 posh lounges with different vibes. Reading, games and music/relaxing. Upscale Aromatherapy diffusers by each bedside! Dinner was best meal of our lives, and a lovely breakfast was included. The smart tv worked perfectly, and the staff was incredibly helpful. “Beautiful old pub in idyllic setting. Perfect for a quick drive into Stratford and the race course. Very warm welcome, lovely clean individual rooms retaining lots of the buildings charter. Bed was beautifully clean and we had a fantastic nights sleep. Full English breakfast freshly cooked was spot on. Great walk around the village, we will be back soon. Thank you 😊”

“Lovely clean apartment. Centrally located. Modern and fresh. Tip- let travellers know that there is no internet access in the village, so to access the codes to allow entry meant going into a hotel and asking to use their WiFi. If I had known I would have screen shotted the codes before arrival. Also, far too hot and unable to figure out using the room temperature controller. Fan on all night but still much too hot. Please leave detailed instructions. Last tip for owners- used by many Cotswold...

“The Bower House property is truly a gem. Clean and beautiful property at a reasonable rate. Nobody around on Monday and Tuesdays to check you in just a lock box system, but it works well.”

“The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay”

“From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days”
