“The Culvert is an atypical hotel accommodation. The cylinder shaped cocoons are clean and fun to stay in and the staff is very friendly. This is an open air concept with everything, except you room, being outside. Premises are located on a hill which means a lot of stairs - and they are no longer in perfect condition. “Excellent AC in room. Room described on here as "sea view" turns out to be "partial sea view", which is the description used on the hotel's own website. Staff very good, especially in restaurant which has a separate vegan menu with some good options. Some evidence that maintenance has suffered, such as a missing tile on pool and water leaking through to children's pool. Water leaking from toilet handle in room. Signs direct to a spa that no longer exists.”

“Room was clean and a good size. Sheets, towels provided. Reception staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful - and were excited for us to see the best of the city and surrounding area. Extremely convenient for many attractions of the city - right on the waterfront, and almost directly opposite the Assembly buildings. Chinatown is just behind - with many delicious options for food. Fantastic. ”

10/10 Eccellente

"Struttura coloniale ben curata e particolare, ottima posizione vicino a Carpenter Rd e il lungofiume, si rivive appieno l'atmosfera di un tempo di Kuching. Camere un po' rumorose ma dovute ai pavimenti originali in legno, piscina pulita e godibile"
