La posizione - Questo appartamento al primo piano si trova all'interno del Pacific Blue Resort a Salamander Bay. Pacific Blue vanta un'enorme piscina che avvolge il resort, day spa, campo da tennis (racchette byo), palestra e piscina olimpionica riscaldata. Tutti a soli 400 metri dal centro commerciale Salamander ea 10 minuti in auto da Nelson Bay, Anna Bay o Shoal Bay.

L'appartamento - Un appartamento moderno, spazioso, a pianta aperta, esposto a nord con vista sulla piscina della laguna. Vivere con un condizionatore d'aria, salotto di fronte alla TV 3D (occhiali 3D BYO), Foxtel, lettore multimediale (DVD / Blu-ray / CD), un mini stereo con dock per iPod / iPhone, una Playstation3 con tre controller e 12 giochi , wi-fi gratuito e un divano letto Kingdream separato. C'è una cucina abitabile rinnovata con elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile (lavastoviglie, forno a microonde, piano cottura, forno e frigorifero) e una macchina per caffè Expressi (cialde BYO Aldi). La camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale che può essere diviso in due letti singoli king size, oltre a una seconda TV a schermo piatto e lettore DVD e un bagno con vasca idromassaggio e doccia. Più una lavanderia interna con lavatrice e asciugatrice, un deposito sicuro nella tromba delle scale, un parcheggio fuori strada per un'auto e un balcone di nove metri con una sedia uovo (i bambini devono essere sorvegliati) e vista sulla piscina.

Love the place

We love the place. The place was clean and cozy. Few downs of our stat was: -Not enough tissue rolls for 4days(we only had two rolls for the entire stay) - The pillows are a bit stinky( smell of sweat) except the 4 pillows that we put new pillow cases on.( we only had 4 pillow cases for 4 person) -the aircon in the room shuts off as soon as you turn it on. It doesn’t matter if you put it on 24-20 degrees. As per the instruction. But it was next to shops and the beaches.

Everything was good overall, but there are some issues to note: 1. The real estate management is unfriendly. 2. The property keys were problematic: we had one functioning key for the parking gate and one for downstairs, but the swipe key and room key didn't work. Attempts to contact management were unsuccessful. 3. The bed sheets were dirty,sofa bed and the bed cover had a stain that required washing. I would rate the property cleaning 2 stars, communication 0 stars, but for a place to stay and have fun, it deserves 5 stars—no complaints.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, the facilities were good, the apartment was clean, there was a play station and games which the kids enjoyed. I had some issues with value for money after paying a premium price. For example I had to make the beds which I didn't expect, there was a coffee machine but no coffee pods, the ironing board was broken.

Stay in Nelson Bay

While I think the property was really nice, there were few things that happened that made our experience mixed. First, we never received the check in pack by email and the msgs we sent to the owner were not replied at all (to this moment). We were luck to know where to pick the key only because of the recipient from the hotel which was not her role to take care of us! 2nd, there was not kitchen table in the unit, high bar is not suitable for little kids! I find it very annoying as well. I would also expect to have some manual how to use the different electronic devices etc

Loved the resort and pool, the room could use some love and attention, the bathroom/bedroom smelt musty and mouldy.. not sure if it was from the bathroom not having good ventilation or the airconditioner on the wall. Also had to use 2 beach towels to cover the plantation shutters to have full privacy in the bedroom as there was about 8 slats missing, with full view to adjacent rooms! Would most likely return to the resort but would stay in another room and on the ground floor with direct pool access!

Nice apartment overall. Great view over the pool and you get most of the days sun. Very spacious and practical. Few areas of potential improvement: - fix the main entry door, it is very difficult to open and having joint problems only makes it worse. - the timer on the clothes drier doesn't work at all. It will keep running if not fixed. - the AC in the living room leaks a lot of water - more attention on cleaning. Found it a little dusty and hairs on the tiles. - get a small dining room table and move the sofa bed near the tv

What a fabulous apartment! It had EVERYTHING we could possible have needed. For a one-bedroom, it felt really spacious and the huge balcony was like having an extra room! Wish it had been longer....we will definitely be back. The extra touches go a long way - this was the best equipped place we have ever stayed.

The wife and I had a great few days of R&R, the resort is just what we needed to unwind. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything needed to enjoy our stay, the spa bath was great to relax in.
