“We really enjoyed our stay. Our host did an outstanding job making us feel welcome, and the property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect with a huge lawn right on the Chena River! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, our kids enjoyed paddleboarding on the river, and our dog enjoyed exploring the spacious yard. The home itself has a unique, old time Alaska feel to it, and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed reading some of the articles hanging up about the history...

“The host was great, communicated well. We appreciated the snacks and drinks that were provided. The house was lovely. Kinda weird neighbors, loud throughout the night. ”

“Experience couldn't be beat. Host were exceptional. Went above and beyond what we expected. House had so many unique artifacts and antiques. Landscaping was beautiful with all the flowers. Special dietary needs were met. Loved the starter food package they provided. Rooms were super nice. They also provided information about things to do and see in the Fairbanks area. Definitely recommend Gilmore House for the ultimate Alaskan stay.”
