“Whatever this place is, it’s not a hotel in the usual sense of the word. There are no staff. Guests are simply left to enter and fend for themselves. The building is tired. Our shower was blocked with hair and wouldn't drain. I had to remove the hair myself. Paper thin walls meant that not only did we hear every movement and conversation from above, the snoring of the gentleman upstairs could be clearly heard at 4 in the morning, even with earplugs in. In a two week trip around Scotland...

“Nice clean place with lots of amenities. We picked this place to stay with our two teen children so they could each have their own room, we had a rental car and parking is on the property, and it’s fairly close to downtown. It’s situated in a nice quiet family friendly neighborhood. Rather than try parking downtown we left the car there and took taxis to and from the Latin Quarter, which is about a 10 minute ride. "The Fork restaurant is very good, no matter what’s on the menu you won’t be disappointed. Staff is always kind with a smile on their face they make you feel at home. The room is cleaned equipped with everything you may need. Location is perfect just a 15min on foot from Galway city centre and no worries with the car park. I strongly recommend this hotel. From my experiences everything was perfect, my third time in there and for sure not the last one I’ll be back when I Galway."
