Very clean hotel. The rooms were minimalistic and basic if you ask me. But the bed was really comfortable. I didn't want to get up in the mornings.
For the price $300/night I was expecting way better. Everything was very basic as far as amenities. There wasn't even a hot tub. The pool is 10th floor and a but small. It's heated but still too cold for early afternoon.
Perks- they have free tea and coffee service in the morning. They have free wine service around 5pm.
I stayed at 3 different hotels on this trip and this was the farthest from the river walk. At least 8 minutes walk which doesn’t seem like a lot but i stayed at two other hotel one right on the riverwalk and one minute away. I felt the difference. A bit more hassel to walk back and forth. Out for the morning then back to the hotel for a 3pm nap. Then back out for the evening 6pm. On some of those late nights out that walk seemed entirely too long. Especially since it's 8 minutes from one particular part of the riverwalk. For things like La panderia (famous bakery and eatery) it's more like 14 minutes. Thats the average walking distance from of the places we frequented.
I much rather pay that price and be on the riverwalk. But it was a nice hotel.
