Overall, this property was not as listed.
Upon arrival, I had not received any check in directions. I attempted to contact the hostess/owner numerous times without any success. After 30 minutes of calls, I finally connected with her. She seemed confused about the reservation, and called me a different name “Hannah” as if she had double booked the rental. She told me she would call me back. She did not call me back and we wasted another 30 minutes in the cold waiting. I finally texted her my receipt/reservation and asked her to please let me know where the key was. She said it was under the mat. I told her I had not received check in directions. She said they were sent on airbb, and I book on VRBO.
The key only opened one door, the other was totally open and could not be locked. The key didn’t fit except one. The storm door handle was loose:
I immediately saw issues, as the power was not working on one side of the house. I had to find the breaker box and turn it on. It tripped the entire time we were there. This morning it never stayed on. We didn’t even have hot water to wash the dishes, only cold. I had to go to the other bathroom to do my hair.
The master bathroom shower, only trickeled.
The advertisement said it was fully stocked. This was not the cases only a few packs on Romaine noodles and that was it.
