He is a scammer, asked us to pay him cash because according to him he had not received payment from Vrbo/HomeAway and our pending charge on our credit card would be removed. He charms you with good customer service and seems trust worthy but DO NOT GIVE HIM CASH! We've been trying to get a refund for almost a year now and Vrbo hasn't done anything about it either! “I couldn't have asked for a better view of the lake! This hotel also offers a generous breakfast included, a restaurant where you can eat until 8 PM, Tuktuk service, and organized tours. There's also a small library where you can borrow books. My room had a very comfortable bed and a bathtub with a window overlooking the lake. The only thing missing are curtains to darken the sunlight that enters at dawn and to ensure more privacy. Definitely recommended.”

“I have never been to a hotel with staff this wonderful. The views are idealic. The restaurant on site was excellent and a good value. We felt at home very quickly. The hotel only has 10 total rooms. We were able to chop it up and meet other guests. A+. Staff always cheerful and helpful! I only have one complaint that is the same at every other hotel I have stayed at around Lake Atitlan.
