“Very nice and quiet. Rooms are very welcoming.”

“This was an older hotel, that was poorly taken cate of. Our door saw outside light. It was old and not a place I would stay again. The clerk was very plesant. It was near some restaurants, but nothing really great.”

“Good: Nice area, easy to find, reasonably convenient location, helpful staff, great price, great parking, good diners nearby, good AC. BUT, room very musty, smelled of urine, very hot on arrival (AC off and window with holes in bent screen open), door jamb split as if it had previously been forced open, puddles in bathroom. I like simple, inexpensive, funky motels when I just need a place to sleep but this was smelly and seemed poorly maintained.”

“Only complaint: no grab bars in the bathroom & no railings by steps. Both of these things are very dangerous for mobility-impaired folks.”

“Everything about this property was perfect. The on-site restaurant bar was excellent. Food, drinks, staff were exceptional. Highly recommend. Would return in future.”

“The Expedia description said breakfast is included, but, there is no breakfast. The manager simply said Super 8 motels haven't done breakfast in a long time. I wanted to tell him I stayed in a Super 8 only a few days early and it had breakfast, but didn't want to start an argument. But hey, there is a McDonalds across the street and you can grab breakfast there. The real reason I am ranking this 3 stars is one,there was a used wet towel in my room (hanging on the hook behind the bathroom...

“Location location… beautiful views. Gracious and accommodating dining staff. Food was great. The grounds were kid and kid at heart friendly. Outdoor games. The porch! I can’t say enough good things.”

“The lodge is probably a great place for people heading out fishing. If this is not your case I would look elsewhere .the rooms were comfortable but very basic. There were no screens on the windows, so you couldn't get any fresh air. The cleaning products they use have such a strong odor it turned my stomach. The toilet backed up the second day. At least it was quiet.”
