“I recently just went on a big China trip and visited the beautiful Zhangjiajie region. Staying at No. 5 Valley was an incredible experience. The host Frankie was super helpful and hospitable. The property is in a very scenic, remote area. Around 1 hour from Zhangjiajie Train Station.
The food options were vast and very accommodative and the resort. Had several activities going on throughout the day. Arts and crafts, tea ceremonies and much more.
I really enjoyed my stay and I'm looking forward...

The best part about our stay is having Frankie coordinate everything for us from pick up at train station, dinning, tickets to Zhangjaijei National park to the ins and outs of the area. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were very accommodating. I would love to stay here again next time I visit. ”

The indoor swimming pool is not open year round like I thought though and the restaurants close earlier during non-peak travel season so rely on room service if you want food late (it was good food).”

“Super surprised by the quality and uniqueness of this hotel. The staff were super attentive, food was fantastic and the area is magical. There is a great hike right up the valley behind the hotel. Rooms are nice and toasty in the winter but the rest of the hotel is a little cold so bring warm clothes. Looking forward to going back here one day”

The view from the Balcony in my room was nice, but the view really depended on the weather. if the weather was bad, you could not see the mountains and were just stuck seeing other buildings It had hot water and decent water pressure. The staff was nice but spoke no English.

Unser Zimmer war bei Ankunft leider nicht geheizt, so dass es etwas gedauert hat, bis es warm war. ”
