We stayed at Kasimatis La Perla from 26 April 2026 to 1 May 2026.
The hotel is located in the beautiful Imerovigli area of Santorini and does offer stunning sunset views. However, unfortunately our overall experience was extremely disappointing and ruined.
The room we received had a very small round bed, an extremely tiny bathroom, and poor drainage. After every shower, the bathroom floor would flood with water. The cupboard was located right next to the bathroom, and due to the steam and poor ventilation, many of our clothes became damp and wet.
The most serious issue happened on our second morning during breakfast, when we discovered mould on the bread served to us. We took photos as proof and immediately reported it to the hotel reception. We also have WhatsApp conversations with the hotel regarding this matter.
The hotel apologised and offered us an upgraded room with a hot tub for the remaining three nights. While we appreciated the gesture, the damage had already been done. Later that evening, my wife became seriously unwell and suffered from severe diarrhoea for the rest of the trip.
For the next three days, she was mostly confined to bed and unable to enjoy Santorini. The hotel reception provided some medication, but unfortunately it did not help. We were unable to properly explore Santorini
