“My daughter and her 4 year-old came from Indiana to visit for a week. The house is charming, immaculate and cozy. It is located literally steps from the nearby beach. My daughter-in-law and her two children could only join us for a day but the kids made the most of being so close to the beaches and near-by Capitola, where the quaint shops and friendly people reminded me of the days I took my children to body surf nearby. “This adorable house was the perfect jumping-off point to explore Santa Cruz and the surrounding area. We were able to walk to the beach, boardwalk, and downtown. There was plenty of room for our family of four, and our girls loved the little window seat for reading and games.”

“I had been looking for a place to stay with my family and I, that would be ok with a very small gathering. Many places could not accommodate. The owner of this beautiful home though, not only did accommodate, but was also very helpful and thoughtful to mine and my family's needs. He was also very quick to answer any messages I sent his way about questions that I had. His home was not only beautiful but perfect for the small family get together I had. “This house worked out perfect. The main bedroom is dialed, the room with the trundle bed was convenient for my 2 daughters and I, plus the detached casita worked out well for my friend to have his own space. Location is the best part. Walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. I'm originally from Aptos so being right close to all the amenities was the goal and this house checked that box. Thanks again.”

“We got in late to our location and when we got to the place the lockboxes were in the dark. Glad I got my phone out because there were black widows by the gate entrance and lockboxes . No problem nature happens ! Next we get up into the location and I notice that the sinks have t been cleaned well. There is crusty stuff around the faucets. “This lovely updated 4 Bedroom rental has an open floor plan on the upper level. Windows with three directional views from living room, kitchen and dining area. Nice deck. The deck has clear wind screens. Kitchen well stocked. The whole house is decorated, but not cluttered. We were there and Front row seating for King title waves of Dec.2023. There is a temporary one-way abutter access due to temporary road repairs. . Walking and negotiating packing an unpacking for multi-family stay needed.....

“I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.”

“The couch is not very comfortable for sleeping. The internet was down for our three day stay. Cell service is minimal at best. All that aside, the place is beautiful and the river is a nice teat. Ride the steam train while you are there.”
