“We loved staying in this house. It is a beautiful property with everything needed to enjoy a great holiday. Frederic and Melanie were excellent hosts and very friendly, responsive and communicative. We had a warm welcome, including a bottle of wine and guided tour of the house.The area around Sarlat has so much to do and we enjoyed canoeing down the River Dordogne, visiting the caves at Padirac, two Chateaus, many markets and all in fantastic weather.”

“The house was great! It has been updated, but there are still some great characteristics that keep this historical charm. The hosts were extremely helpful, especially when the roads were closed and we couldn’t find parking on Bastille Day. Would definitely stay there again! ”

“After opening the gates to Sophie’s property, we weren’t quite prepared for how amazing the view was over the town over Sarlat. With a larger than average pool directly overlooking the town as well, it was evident that this place had beauty in abundance. The house itself was very well laid out, with everything to hand and access to a fantastic terrace overlooking the pool and the town as well. The grounds were totally private and safely enclosed for our two dogs to enjoy. We were very grateful...

“La casa nos ha ofrecido todo lo que necesitábamos para unas felices vacaciones en familia y con nuestros perros seguros en el jardín bien vallado .Cathy y su familia son personas cercanas y que hacen todo lo q pueden para que tú estancia sea lo mejor posible.La casa no tiene aire acondicionado cosas q ya sabíamos ,por lo demás todas las comodidades,horno ,lavadora,lavavajillas ....y unos vecinos encantadores q nos echaron un cable al vernos en apuros a causa de una gran tormenta q tiro un trozo...

“The house is very conveniently located. We loved the amount of indoor and outdoor space the property provides. Overall, it feels like a stay at Grandma’s or Great Grandma’s house in the country. If you come with small children, it’s well-equipped with most everything you need. The washing machine wasn’t like anything I’d operated before, but after I figured it out, it cleaned clothes really well. Line drying can be done inside or out.
