“Beautiful hotel,loved my room and the atmosphere of the town”

“Not the best stay. The hand soap and lotion were out. The tv didn’t work.”

“This hotel was perfect for 2 of us that came to town for an event at UNI (3 minute drive/20 minute walk for reference). The price was right, the exterior is nice & well kept, and the interior was consistent with that. Overall very clean, pleasant staff including the housekeepers we met in the elevator. Another review mentioned noise from the highway, but we did not find this to be a problem. (We were on the highway side too). Water pressure in the shower is great, there were plenty of towels...

“We had to switch to 3 different rooms. The first room didn’t even have sheets. The second had no air conditioning and we stayed in the 3rd room but it had no shower curtain. We ended up with a single queen bed when we reserved a king.”

“No elevator. No shampoo or hair dryer. No microwave. No alarm clock. No comforter. No room coffee maker. Only coffee in lobby and was told now working. ”

“We were in Cedar Falls for the AAU Iowa State Championship meet. The breakfast didnt have any breakfast style eggs (hard boiled only) no waffles. The hotel states the rooms are sound proofed, but they arent! kids were running up and down the halls at least until 11ish pm, when we had to be up and checked out by 645 am”

“The room was very clean. Food was great. Would stay again. ”

“Our meet and greet was great! And the place is a very nice looking Mansion. But entering the room it was hot to both of us. We started the small window AC in the living room and the vented stand along AC in the bedroom. It took quite a while to cool off. We decided to take a Jacuzzi bath and not only did it not work, we made ourselves even more hot. I went to shave and the bathroom sink is " clogged" not just slowly draining as I could run hot water very long before it was full. Unfortunately...

“You really couldn't ask for a friendlier staff. We stay here often as it is a halfway point for a frequent trip. The breakfast they offer is very good and they have the best coffee!”
