We really appreciated the baby gate; it was a big help during our visit. The furniture was comfortable, the location was easy to access, and we were grateful for the internet and Roku access, especially for keeping the baby entertained.That said, I did want to share a few pieces of feedback regarding the listing and our experience. While the cabin was generally cozy, we were a bit disappointed that it didn’t fully match the online description. We specifically booked this property because of the “creekside” listing, but unfortunately, the creek isn’t visible from the cabin, which was a letdown—especially for the two elderly guests we brought who had hoped to enjoy that view from the comfort of the house.The photos also gave the impression of a brighter, more airy space, while we found the interior to be quite dark, and there was some mildew visible on the walls upstairs. Additionally, you may want to have someone look at the dishwasher—it made a loud noise while running, almost like a generator.One final note: the trash situation was a bit challenging. With a baby and elderly guests, we had some waste that needed to be thrown away more frequently. Since there’s only one indoor bin and we weren’t able to leave bags outside due to animals, having to wait until we had two full bags (or drive 15 minutes to dispose of them) wasn’t very practical.
