“Our stay at The DeSoto was disappointing overall. The staff was kind and friendly, but unfortunately that was the highlight of our experience. Our room would not cool below 75°F despite lowering the thermostat, and it didn’t appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. The hallways were also dirty, with carpets that looked and felt unclean. The water pressure frequently dropped out, making it difficult to shower. On top of that, the guests in neighboring rooms were extremely loud and rowdy throughout...

“The breakfast staff was wonderful! But the room we stayed in smelled horrible!! It was the worst dog urine smell ever!!! They need to take 606 out of commission, and deep clean the floors, carpet and drapes! If you are going to allow animals at your property have the appropriate cleaning supplies to rid the rooms of their odor!”

“Upon arrival we were sent to a room that was 76 degrees while it was 95 degrees outside. They told us to wait a few hours it would cool down. Well by 11pm it was 76 degrees and unbearable to stay in the room. Thats when we noticed our room phone did not work either. Went downstairs and no one was at the desk. Had to wait 15 mins before anyone came to the front. They switched us to another room down the hall and it was the same issue with the heat went back downstairs waited another 20 minutes...
