Case in affitto a Scales Mound

“This was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at in Galena. We have stayed at a lot of them. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Love the TV watching setup and the furniture was comfortable. So unusual in a rental. Both my husband and I have back issues so need support and a way to put up our feet. First time we went home without pain/discomfort. Loved that one of the showers was a normal size and not a tiny square. We stayed for a week and didnt need the air conditioning with the windows open...

“We had a great stay! House is beautiful. Owners club is very well equipped.”

“We weren't informed that a tree fell on the upper deck and tore off all the railings making the deck unusable, this is where we planned cooking on the grill and relaxing days and nights, we had to carry food down 12 steps and across the building length to cook on a very cheap grill with a small surface, I'm 73 yrs old so the steps I didn't appreciate. If we were informed of the damage we would have booked elsewhere. Description was misleading to me as I thought there was a pool at the property...

“This villa was beautiful, very clean, well-maintained and they thought of everything. The communication was above and beyond and we will definitely be back.”

“The property was clean and well taken care of. Brian was very helpful, responding immediately to requests for information. We will be back.”

“We had a wonderful week-long stay at Plum Cove. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals throughout Galena, and this was, without question, the cleanest home we’ve experienced. It’s clear the owner takes great pride in maintaining the property. The three separate bathrooms were a fantastic perk and made the home especially comfortable for our group. We also loved having a second living area downstairs, which gave the kids their own space while the adults relaxed upstairs. We took advantage of the...

“Perfect place for our getaway. Clean, quiet and perfectly appointed.”

“Place was darling. Well maintained, nicely decorated, peaceful and cozy, nestled in a little wooded area. It was a little out of town but a beautiful drive (country) to and from Galena (town). Beds were comfy, place was clean and very welcoming. Host was available and had great communication. Perfect for our Girls trip to Galena!! We would definitely stay again. We did not use any other amenities offered such as pickleball/pool. But pool passes were provided if we wanted too.”

“The house was a great space for our group and had a perfect layout with multiple outdoor areas. The hot tub was great to have for the cool fall nights. The kitchen was well equipped, had spices, a drip coffee maker and Keurig. They even had dog bowls, treats, and a dog bed!The host was very helpful and also accommodated a late checkout. The location was not too far to pop over into town. We also found some trails within walking distance to the house which was great for a longer dog walk. The...

“Great location. Setup was perfect for our family.. Husband and I had the master bedroom on tha main floor with our adult son on the upper level and grandkids on lower level - all with our own bathrooms. Very well equipped property. Other than the weather, we had a lovely stay.”

“great location and the host was very accessible and friendly. We had no issues and served what we needed.”
