“Very glad that there was a lift. My single room was small but had all I needed. The shower was a really good size which made it easy to get into. There is a lounge with a lovely view of the sea. You can walk down to North Bay beach. The breakfast was extra but very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem is that there are steps from the street to the front door.”

“We stayed at the Bike and Boot Hotel in Scarborough for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the modern quirky decor. We had a medium sea view room which had a large king size bed with a lovely modern bathroom. We had a fantastic sea view from our window. It can be a little difficult at times to find a parking spot due to the number of hotels in the area. We did not stay for breakfast as we thought this was a little expensive. “This hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. There is a restaurant in the hotel which you can book once you have checked in . Communication from all the staff was outstanding during my stay. There is a lift inside the hotel. They also do bar meals. This hotel is a 40 minute walk to Oliver's Mount. I would stop here again ”
“The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order.
The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area .
Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough.
The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break.
We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break”
“Rebecca is the best! Whatever you want/need she’s there! Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!”
“I enjoyed every day of my stay here. The staff customer service skills were fantastic. My room was the perfect size for me.You have to walk down to the basement for breakfast. No lifts inside the property which didn't bother me. I was on the top floor. Mansion House is only a 30 minutes walk to Oliver's Mount ”
“We stayed in room 2 whilst we went to a concert in the town and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and ample for our needs and though the room is on the front (with view of the sea) we slept well and didn't get disturbed, not even by the seagulls.
Steve and his staff were brilliant. Really helpful and friendly and to cap things off the breakfast was superb and great value.
Would recommend parking on the car park 2 minutes away, secure and not...

“We had an excellent stay whilst attending a concert at the open air theatre. The room was clean with everything you needed, a well stocked tea and coffee tray with biscuits and two bottles of water. There was also toiletries in the bathroom although we used our own. The bar itself was great, lovely choice of drinks and food. “We had an amazing 2 night stay and would highly recommend this property. We had property #3 which was on the 3rd floor access is only by stairs. This had two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room/ Kitchen area.
