There is also the harbour and piers, as well as the funfair. Just a 20-minute walk away you also have the more peaceful north bay, with a 12th century castle on the headland between the two bays.

This is a great choice for families as well as friends looking to be in the very heart of Scarborough with everything within easy reach. Within minutes, guests can be sitting on the beach or paddling in the sea, and there are plenty of bars, cafés, and restaurants within close proximity. There is a choice of two bays to explore; the North Bay has a long promenade to stroll along with the Sealife centre at the far end. The South Bay has all the hustle and bustle of a traditional seaside resort, as well as a surf school where you can hire surf boards and paddle boards, as well as having lessons.

The town of Scarborough has much to offer in the form of the Rotunda Museum, the art gallery, the famous Scarborough Spa, Peasholm Park with oriental gardens and boating lake, Alpamare water park and spa, as well as one of the largest open-air theatres in Europe, all within walking distance.
