“I arrived at the hotel after a long and stressful day, only to find I’d booked myself in on the wrong day. Cassie and her male colleague on the front desk were lovely and so friendly. And they managed to get my booking changed so I could stay that night which was a relief. The hotel itself is lovely, clean, modern and brand new but the staff are exceptional. I will definitely be back.”

“The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order.”

“This was hands down the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and cheery. They made us feel at home and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The wait staff was exceptional as well. The food was excellent, the setting idyllic, and location walkable to The Chatsworth House! We could not wait to write a glowing review as we cannot recommend this hotel enough! We suggest you give your entire staff a raise as they were top notch and whoever hired them...

“The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. I arrived about 4.10 p.m., but there was no one on Reception, and at first I...

“The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door”

“Excellent accommodation, clean, tidy and close to Southwell. Easy parking and nice touch with snacks and drinks you could buy. Tea/coffee facilities, nice en-suite. Host was very receptive, we left an iPad in the room, and they kindly posted it back to us . Thank you”

“Very comfortable and well equipped”

“Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.”

“Booking a room was misleading because the picture of the room wasn’t the room we were put in , wasn’t told we could order a cooked breakfast, wasn’t told that they had a smoking area, overall the room was very clean , the bed and bedding was spotless, we had tea , coffee and biscuits in room , bathroom was spotless which was very appreciated”

“Staff where very friendly, but it was a maze to get to the room, clearer signs need to be put up to direct people to their rooms. Due to warm weather it would have been ideal for the rooms to have A/C”

“I was a bit surprised to be put in a room on the old side of the hotel - a bit souless. I'm sure the more modern side to the hotel is nice, but I didn't get to see it”

“Location is fine and also the surrounds but breakfast is not suitable for non uk people. I dont like british breakfast and ı could not find much to eat”

“Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Kettle and coffee machine with good supply of tea, coffee and fresh milk. Staff friendly and efficient. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Lovely location for a walking break - we appreciated use of the pub car park before check-in/after check-out. Would stay here again in future.”
