“We reserved the hotel several months in advance. Unfortunately a week before our booking they had a main AC go out and reached out to cancel due to extremely high temps. We were traveling with 4 teenagers to see a concert blocks away and there were not any other realistic options nearby. The assistant general manager, Valerie, reached out to discuss and was ready to do whatever (provide fans if we could handle, the heat, comp the room, etc). “Front staff was friendly and helpful. They do allow dogs but seemed like they kept them all on the same floor from what I could tell by sharing the elevator with them. Indoor pool was nice since it was so hot outside while we were there. It’s a little on the small side but still nice to have. The breakfast was good and well stocked. The beds were comfy and the room was clean ”

“The weather was amazing! and the Hotel its self was 10/10 the staff were so nice and very attentive. Our room was clean, and the view AMAZING! oceanfront. The beach is walking distance. We were on the 19 floor and I loved it so did my husband this is my second stay at this same hotel and I loved it, the restaurants are so close walking distance and the food 10/10. Breakfast was good they serve from 6-10am a lot of wide selections. Over all great experience. ”

“I’m going to enjoy leaving this review because it’s about how much my husband and I loved our stay. Parking is included with your stay, FULL wonderful breakfast every morning, such a major plus, clean room and updated, also spacious, although there was a heavy traffic of people at the hotel, still quiet and peaceful, indoor pool and hot tub, our shower was amazing, something we are particular, daily room service which was nice, HBO Max free with stay, receptionists very professional and kind. “I’ve stayed at a few properties on Virginia Beach over the years and none I’d go back to. However, The Capes is on my list of hotels I’d rebook. The rooms were clean; the property was clean. The indoor pool was warm and seemed pretty clean. They offer an on-site restaurant. I did not try this time around so I can’t speak to the food there. They also offer ample parking that is easily accessible. I guess if I were to offer one thing I’d like to see, it’d be a soap rack in the shower or towel rack...

“Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Going back and forth to the beach the floors got so sandy so I would recommend getting a broom for the room, but it’s so convenient to the beach. Beds were comfortable and not a lot of noise. Very nice stay. Definitely will stay there again in the future! ”
