“We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting...

“Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. “Exceptional hotel which has been recently refurbished to a really high standard. Our room was stunning, beautifully decorated with picture perfect sea views. We had everything we needed in the room, hair dryer, coffee maker,tea, fridge, bottled water etc. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, John and Francie, who were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious too. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.”

“The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes”

“We stayed for 4 nights at Cornerhouse with Stuart and Linda and found them to be extremely helpful and the property convenient, comfortable, clean and well organised, you could go down for a continental style breakfast or it could be delivered to your room. Parking spaces were fine also their recommendations were great for local pubs alternative breakfasts etc.”

“Friendly and helpful receptionist. Very professional approach by not shouting out the room number but just giving the key cards - excellent. Dinner was also excellent with good service. Room very comfortable. Not much of a view but no complaints.”
