It is just 400 metres from the golden sands of the beach, the busy working harbour, and the shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs in the centre of the village. Experience Sir David Attenborough’s favourite place to see nature in the UK – between March and October, you can take a boat trip to the nearby Farne Islands, home of a nationally important breeding colony of thousands of seabirds including puffins, and grey seals. Try a round of golf at the Seahouses Golf Club, 1 mile – a traditional links course in a wonderful setting next to the beautiful Annstead Coastal Reserve. Head up to Bamburgh, 3 miles, where you can visit the famous castle, England’s finest coastal fortress for over 1,400 years. Step through centuries of history reflected in its treasure-filled staterooms, the fabulous King’s Hall, and the armoury.
Enter the main building by way of a security-protected front door and take the set of 16 stairs to the first floor where the entrance to the apartment is located. Head through to the lounge and get your first views of the sea through the floor-to-ceiling corner window and double glass doors that lead out onto the front balcony. Relax on the comfortable seating for four guests, with a large sofa and winged chair, plus a coffee table, footstool, and Smart TV with Netflix. Next to the lounge, you will find the kitchen/diner with a dining table and four chairs, and double glass doors leading out to the rear balcony. Further along the hall are the two bedrooms, both with super-king-size beds that can also be used as twins on request. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, whilst the second bedroom has an en-suite shower room.
Outside, find two private balconies, both with tables and chairs. One is to the front of the apartment, accessed from the lounge, and has uninterrupted views out to sea and down to the busy harbour. The second is to the rear of the apartment and is accessed from the kitchen/dining room – perfect to enjoy the afternoon sun and the evening sunset.
