“Edwina was a welcoming host! Nothing was too much trouble! Made sure we always had what we need! Accommodating our American car! Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast! Room was lovely which was cleaned daily. The best shower pressure! Tea coffee, water and juice in the room. Great location, walking distance to Esher town centre and the Racetrack! Highly recommend Edwinas home!”

“The thermostat was locked and I was forced to sleep in a 77f room. They eventually brought a mini fan but that was not helpful as it just circulated hot air. I cut stay short next day. Terrible experience”

“An enjoyable stay at Oatlands Park Hotel to celebrate our 55th Wedding Anniversary & also a trip down memory lane as we used to work there many years ago. The staff were friendly & helpful, food excellent (a more efficient toaster machine is needed) but we had some observations to make such as amenities in the bathroom. It is usual to provide sanitary bags, shower caps etc. as standard, these were lacking. We had a Superior double room which provided our needs, a special touch was the bed...

“I loved this place. When I go to England, I enjoy these smaller, transformed hotels much more than bigger ones and Hand and Spear has been the best. The room I got was spacious with ample wardrobe space and beautiful decor. The bath was insane with a beautiful claw foot tub. I’m very self-sufficient when I travel so I don’t expect a room made up each day but I’m sure they would accommodate you and they quickly brought extra towels when I asked. The thing is…my room had food and a little fridge...

“La camera era spaziosa, ma c’era un cattivo odore proveniente dalla moquette. La pulizia abbastanza buona, ma asciugamani e lenzuola erano un po’ vecchi. L’hotel è vicino alla zona pedonale di Sutton, a soli 20 minuti da Wimbledon. ”

“Hotel vicino Gatwick, ok per una sola notte di passaggio ma per di più non è possibile. Il ristorante dell'albergo è temporaneamente chiuso, abbiamo dovuto ordinare da asporto per mangiare qualcosa, non c'erano neanche delle bottigliette d'acqua. All'arrivo richiesto deposito cauzionale di 50£ di cui non ero a conoscenza. Stanza familiare ampia ma troppo insalubre, muffa sulle pareti e umidità elevata. Ok parcheggio gratuito in loco e vicinanza alla fermata di un autobus. ”
