“The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!”

“This is a very attractive alternate to staying on Norfolk side of the river with easy access via ferry. Staff were awesome and property appeared brand new due to recent upgrades. Breakfast buffet was awesome as was Daruis who waited on us. Great stay!”

“Half the price of downtown and within walking distance. It's not a 5 star hotel but it was alright, and the staff were very helpful with a multiple room Expedia booking that I needed to split up. Halley was great as well as the night shift guy. The breakfast waitress also needs mentioning as she was a great waitress. So so for the average Joe, it had hot showers, decent beds and decent rooms. “I asked a room that don't need to use the stairs because of my walking difficulties when I book this hotel but they don't give that. They only clean our room after we checked in. We wait for so long to clean our room. There's a lot of bed bugs. I got a lot of bed bugs bite. Don't stay at this hotel.”

“If you’re on a budget then suck it up and use them but be prepared for hardship. It smells like smoke and urine. No overnight room service for towels or etc. Breakfast is sad. Not recommended for families or children young in age. They will do their best to make things work. Pool needs to be cleaned. Otherwise housekeeping staff is fantastic!!!”

“There were sirens, gun shots, a woman trying to sell us Jordan’s at midnight, another woman came knocking on our door & then ran away at 5 am. Did not feel safe staying there what so ever. The room was disgusting, the floor probably hadn’t been swept ever. The shower had mold & there wasn’t really any hot water. The mini fridge was covered in old food and the room smelled musty.”
