“The room and facilities were good though the bathroom has a window grill open to outside so was freezing cold at night, to cold to stay in for a shower etc. We ate at the restaurant, the steak was amazing, perfectly cooked but and they didn't deliver to the table any of the sides we had ordered so we had steaks, no potatos, no veggies, and some how we were charged $29 for what we are pretty sure was a $17 glass of wine. “Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel.”

“Adorable BnB-style property in the Blue Mountains! The staff were so friendly and the rooms comfortable and cozy (especially loved the soaking tub after a long day). It's an easy 10-minute walk to the train station, town, and nearby hiking trails. Breakfast was great, and the views from the lounge and restaurant were absolutely perfect. Loved the fun Christmas in July decorations they had up too — such a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here!”
