“Beautiful old building and neat gardens, staff helpful and attentive even though few of them. Excellent food, veggie available on each menu. Comfortable rooms, nice toiletries, big bath, plenty hot drink makings. Lovely and peaceful.”

“The food was the main attraction, it was delicious. The staff were great and welcoming. The only niggle was the force of the hot water from the hot tap and the shower head. It was just a trickle from both.”

“Room was large and clean with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a beautiful village next to the river and many lovely walks. Evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast. All the staff were great with Naomi going above and beyond.”

“A lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a walking holiday. Plenty of info from the helpful owner who came around to explain things shortly after I arrived. A short walk to the station. Parking OK outside cottage as long as you have a relatively small car (larger cars can park further down the lane I think). All in all an excellent cottage.”
